Description
Advanced Electric Steering. The Microsteer Electric Power Steering system is a universal retrofit solution designed to convert manual steering setups into power-assisted steering without needing to replace the steering rack or add a hydraulic system. Its integrated tuning box allows customization of assistance levels, including speed-sensitive modes, enhancing driver comfort, precision, and adaptability.
Construction and Appearance. This compact system integrates the motor and gearbox (MGU) into a single durable unit engineered for long-lasting performance. The electronic control unit (ECU) and tuning box are enclosed within protective IP67-rated casings, ensuring resistance against dust and moisture. The design prioritizes robustness and reliability over aesthetic finish.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and involves mounting the unit inline with the existing steering shaft. Typically, no drilling or permanent modifications to the vehicle chassis are necessary; however, some adaptations for shaft couplers may be required to fit specific vehicle configurations.
Warranty. This system includes a one-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects for added peace of mind. Application. It fits universal applications, though minor adaptations might be needed to accommodate various steering systems and vehicle models.
