      Description

      Universal Catalytic Converter. The Flowmaster 200 Series Catalytic Converter features a 2-inch inlet and outlet and is 49-state legal. It is designed to reduce harmful emissions while maintaining efficient exhaust flow and is ideal for pre-OBDII custom applications, racing use, or vintage vehicles originally lacking catalytic converters. This converter complies with EPA 49-state regulations but is not legal for use in California or CARB states.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a durable stainless steel spun outer casing, this catalytic converter includes a high flow 200 cell metallic substrate engineered for severe-duty and high-temperature environments. It has a natural finish and a compact round body measuring 4 inches in diameter and 8 inches in overall length, allowing easy installation in tight spaces.

      Installation. The converter features slip-fit weld-on 2.00-inch inlet and outlet connections for straightforward mounting. Installation does not require drilling; however, some adaptation or fabrication may be necessary depending on the vehicle application.

      Warranty. This product is backed by a 25,000-mile performance and emissions warranty, along with a 5-year/50,000-mile case warranty for added assurance.

      Application. Designed to fit universal applications, some adaptation may be required. It is primarily intended for pre-OBDII racing and vintage vehicle setups and is not legal for use in California or states with CARB regulations.
