Description
Leveled-Up Power for Impressive Performance. Level up your Mustang’s performance for race day with the Flowtech 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers; Black Painted Finish. Your ride’s cast iron exhaust manifold is not exactly maximized for performance. These shorty headers with their free-flowing plumbing and 2-1/2-inch OE style collectors are engineered to level-up exhaust gas velocity, which in turn maximizes your engine’s combustion cycle. The result is practical improvements in horsepower and torque come race day.
Dynamic Sound and Volume. Besides leveling up your vehicle’s performance, these shorty headers will also raise its exhaust sound. Specifically, these headers will turn your ride’s already impressive muscle car tone into a dynamic roar worthy of the track. This way, you’re able to make your presence known to your competition.
Brawny Build Quality. These shorty headers get their strength from 16-gauge 1-5/8-inch wide 409 tubular stainless steel construction. These stainless steel tubes are then CNC mandrel-bent creating a high-flowing turbulence-free inner structure. Furthermore, these headers feature thick stainless steel flanges designed to provide an efficient seal and superior durability. Finally, these assemblies are painted in black for added corrosion protection and aggressive under the hood style.
CARB Certified Under CARB EO Number D-115-28. These Hooker Blackheart shorty headers are CARB-certified under EO number D-115-28, making them legal in all 50 states.
No Re-Tuning to ECU Required. These shorty headers do not require you to re-tune your ECU to get its full performance benefits. However, having your ECU re-tuned down the line is always a good idea as this will ensure your vehicle and these components work in full harmony.
