I ran over a root last night and it broke the side piece bumper under the door and it hasn’t fallen off but it’s definitely broke. Is this the whole side piece? And my car is balck so would I need to paint it

    • This will indeed be the complete right hand passenger side rocker molding.

Do they have to be painted? I'm lookung for a matt black rocker that does not need to be painted. Also, is the surface smooth or rough. I'd prefer rough, but either is ok, if it doesn't need to be painted. Thank you, Susan

    • You will not need to paint these if you were going for that Matte black look and these rockers would be a smooth plastic.

I have a 2010 mustang that I was thinking of using these on. The factory rockers on my car are matte black with a kinda rough finish. Sorta tiny little bumps on them. I want a smooth painted finish on the new ones. Are these rocker panels smooth? They look, like it from the pictures but I just wanted to be sure before I bought them . Thanks car

    • The Ford 2013 Style Rocker Molding are not perfectly smooth and will require prep and sanding prior to primer and paint.

Review from Ford 2013 Style Rocker Molding - Right Side (10-14 All)

      2014 Mustang GT

Had a little miss hap and broke the passenger side rocker. Was looking everywhere for a cheaper price and couldn't find it. But ordered from American Muscle for cheaper price than anybody and came with all some hard ware. So far love it and I installed it with the Roush under lip looks awesome.

Review from Ford 2013 Style Rocker Molding - Right Side (10-14 All)

Ford 2013 Rocker Molding Right Side

The product is 100 Ford OEM with the OEM part number embossed on the inside, so that is how you know it is the exact. I have yet to install, but this part comes with the plastic clips already so if you break those on the old, no worries. There are also a few screws to remove before you begin prying. I recommend using a plastic tool to pry the part off so limit the potential to etch or mar the paint on the body between the old rocker and the body. Even if you can get some thin cardboard between both sides, which would help to prevent that. Also, as soon as you get it started, you should be able to just pull and pop the rest of it loose. Again, have yet to install, but should go smooth.
