Why can't I get a 1/4 inch tube down to syphon old gass out of my tank?

Do I need to drop the gas tank to install

    • The gas tank does not need to be dropped, however, it is common to drop the entire fuel tank to replace the filler neck. Many enthusiasts just lower the tank on the side of the filler neck, which allows for just enough room for its removal and re-installation without removing the entire fuel tank.

      No More Gas Leaking

I noticed one day that when I filled up, gas would start dripping out. It would stop after a min and I didnt notice any fuel leaking as driving like normal. I was able to locate leak and tried to seal it. It did not work, only thing to do is replace with this OEM version of filler pipe. It will eventually get worse and will literally be spilling gas as you fill up after time. Be sure to get gasket for where it plugs in to tank too.

      Replacement filler pipe

This product is a direct ford replacement so fitment is not an issue. I would recommend purchasing the replacement gasket also. Total time for replacement was about 30 minutes.

No more leaking gas when fueling up

I had bought this after I found my old filler neck leaking gas when I fueled up at the pump. I had my mechanic look at it only to tell me that my entire filler neck was all rotted out and the grommet holding it to the hull was almost ready to fall off. American Muscle came through in the clutch once again with fast shipping and reliable service. I dropped it off in the morning and had it done by the afternoon. No more leaks, no more problems.
