If you’re looking for a cylinder head for your Mustang build project, or if you’re simply thinking of upgrading your 302, 351, or 289 engine, then the Ford Performance 302/351W X2 Street Cruiser 64 cc Assembled Aluminum Cylinder Head is for you. This cylinder head features an all-new design and construction capable of providing significantly higher horsepower numbers over stock. What’s more, this assembled cylinder head is compatible with a number of aftermarket headers, intake manifolds, and valve train components for making your build relatively hassle-free.
Exceptional Performance. The Ford Performance 302/351W X2 Street Cruiser 64-Cc Assembled Aluminum Cylinder Head features a 64-cc combustion chamber for more efficient combustion. This cylinder head uses 1.94-inch intake and 1.54-inch exhaust valves. Intake port volume is at 188 ccs with 63 ccs on the exhaust port side. This cylinder head provides a 230 CFM intake flow at a 0.60-inch lift, while exhaust flow is 160 CFM at a 0.60-inch lift.
Heavy-Duty Construction. The Ford Performance 302/351W X2 Street Cruiser 64-Cc Assembled Aluminum Cylinder Head is precision-machined from 356-T6 aluminum for strength, minus the weight. In fact, this cylinder head is about 25% lighter than stock. Intake and exhaust valves are precision-crafted from stainless steel for strength and use bronze valve guides. This cylinder head uses unique ovate steel beehive-style springs for durability. Finally, this assembled cylinder head uses a wider valve cover gasket sealing rail, preventing leaks.
Straight Bolt-On Installation. The Ford Performance 302/351W X2 Street Cruiser 64-cc Assembled Aluminum Cylinder Head is designed as a straight bolt-on assembly. Advanced mechanical skills and special tools are required to properly install this cylinder head onto your Mustang. Consequently, a professional installation is recommended.
Application. The Ford Performance 302/351W X2 Street Cruiser 64-cc Assembled Aluminum Cylinder Head fits 289/302/351 Windsor-Style Engines.
Application Notes. This Ford Performance Aluminum Cylinder Head will not fit 1986 5.0L Mustangs with flat-top pistons unless pistons are notched for valve relief. This cylinder head must use Ford Performance head gasket, head bolt set, and head stud kit.
