      Description

      Superior Ford Performance. The Ford Performance Dual Plane Intake Manifold is ideal for any Pony enthusiast looking for a new dual plane intake manifold for their small block 289 or 302 engine. It's designed specifically for high-performance track applications.

      Excellent Fuel Distribution. This 180-degree intake manifold delivers superior performance to a maximum engine speed of 5500 RPM. It offers excellent fuel distribution and a midrange power band from 1,500 to 6,500 rpm and is designed for use on small block engines fitted with production heads and inline valves.

      Ford Racing Construction. This intake manifold is constructed from high-quality aluminum for maximum performance and minimum added weight. It's 4.375 inches at the front of the carburetor pad and 5.250 inches at the rear and features the Ford Racing emblem and a natural finish.

      Bolt-on Installation. The manifold was designed for a bolt-on installation process. An expert level of mechanical ability is needed for proper installation and no custom machining or fabrication is required. It can be mounted either the stock 4-barrel carburetor or an aftermarket Holley.

      Not CARB Certified. This Ford Performance manifold is not CARB certified and is not legal for use in California or any other state adopting California emission standards. It's not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles and is intended for off-road use only.

      Application. The Ford Performance Dual Plane Intake Manifold will fit 1979-1993 Ford Mustangs with 289 and 302 engines.

      Technical Note. This intake manifold does not fit "Z" or GT-40 "X" heads.
