Will the sp-433 ford motorcraft spark plugs work on my 2005 v6 ford mustang

    GradyS

    • These Ford Motorcraft OEM Spark Plugs would not work with your 2005 V6 Mustang. To stick with Ford Motorcraft spark plugs, you would want to look for the SP498 plugs, which we do not offer at this time

      Better Than NGK

When Replacing things like coil paks, fuel injectors, maf, and other such items; fords products are superior to everything else. The Same thing with these spark plugs, you want something thats going to burn fuel cleanly and last 50k miles, then buy motorcraft, best of the best and you're not wasting an extra

      Spark plugs DOHC installation tips

My vehicle is a 2003 Mach 1 with 30,000km. I have the basic bolt ons for max performance. JLT Ram air, twin 65mm BBK throttle body, Magna flo exhaust with -X pipe, SCT programmer from Bama,I also have the 80,000v coils from Weapon X, and I had purchased their plugs too. All this basically happened to the car around 25,000kms. Those plugs or any plugs just do not last with those coils, the coils do make a difference but at the price of plugs, so with that said you may as well burn up the stock plugs at $3 a plug as opposed to $10 plugs they last as long. Also before removing the plug have your engine cold (alluminum heads) and use your compressor and blow out the hole little rocks and sand can and do get trapped in there. When installing the new plug put some nickle anti seize on the threads and do not over tighten snug them up and 1/8 turn to tighten no more.

      Great product!

I was very satisfied with this product. OEM motorcraft is the best way to go. Great price, way cheaper than the dealer.

      Just what I wanted

Was due for new plugs and Wanted to go with oem motorcraft plugs since my motor is stock with bolt ons. More then anything I wanted to do preventative maintenance. Make sure to gap your plugs to spec. Only thing I notice is my car idles a hair smoother. Old plugs where still in pretty good shape. American muscle makes getting my mustang parts convenient and easy as always, and these customer review's on the products gives you confidence on what to purchase for your set up, and know what to expect. I recommended going with oem plugs unless on the bottle or boost.

      OEM Spark Plugs

Decided to stick with the OEM Ford Motorcraft spark plugs due to never having an issue and you can go wrong with OEM parts. Install was a breeze and no to difficult to install. Just take your time and you will encounter no issues like i did. Definitely recommend for you stock stang.

Bought these plugs to replace the nkg that were in my car hoping to fix a slight miss problem. Plugs solved the problem, fit great, helped the miss, and improved my gas milage

      Motorcraft spark plugs

I had put in Autolite plugs at 60K, started having miss firing problems. Just installed a set of Motorcraft plugs and it is running so much better.

      Great Choice!

As we all do - I fretted and debated the decision - which plug to use in my Mach 1. Aftermarket - or OEM? After much thought - went with the OEM. These are great plugs - and the car runs much smoother, has regained lost power and mileage. No regrets with these - and I'm set for many more miles!

      Maintanance is Key!

Proper preparation prevents poor performance, this is what basic maintenance tune up items are for. Replacing your spark plugs will prevent power loss as will regular oil and filter changes. No real performance gains that I could notice but didn't loose performance.
