Where is the temp sending unit located on a 1993 Ford mustang, 2.3 L? Thanks, Mary.

    Baby

    • The coolant temperature sending unit should be located at the front of the lower intake.

temperature sending unit for 1988 mustang gt

the sending is probably very good, but not made for my 5.0 mustang gt. my mustang has the temperature sending unit and temperature sensor combined in one unit which I had already purchased from you some time back. not knowing this, I thought the sending unit would solve my temperature gauge problem. so I have to dig deeper to fix my non working gauge.

      That's Pretty Neat!

Had to find where she went and after that it was really neat! Only took a minute to remove old one and put new one in. How neat is that?

      Temp Gauge works!

I noticed in many of the vehicles I test drove when I was buying one that the temperature gauge was always out. It appears that may be a common problem that's easily fixed with this product.

Ford OEM Temperature Sending Unit (80-89 5.0L)

Simple it install, though harder if you have a BBK shock tower brace on your pony. The gauge is working again. Yippie!

      1986 Mustang GT

Very simple to install. Since I got my car, the temp gauge never worked. Unscrewed the old TSU and put this one in and it works perfectly. Make sure you wait for your coolant to cool of so it doesn't explode all over the place!
