      • 304 Polished Stainless Steel 3.5" Tips
      • Fits 2005-2009 V6 Mustangs

More Power. By replacing your restrictive stock single exhaust with a Dual Exhaust System and X-Pipe, you'll uncork the power genie for more horsepower, torque and a throatier exhaust note.

      Quality Construction.
Constructed from durable Aluminized 409 stainless steel for it's corrosion resistant properties, the Ford Racing V6 Performance Dual Exhaust kit includes the same exact mufflers that were used as standard equipment on the 2008 Bullitt Mustang. The mufflers feature 3.5" diameter polished 304 stainless steel tips for cool retro muscle car looks.

This Ford Racing Dual Cat-Back Exhaust System is designed to fit the 2005-2009 4.0L V6 Mustangs and includes an X-Pipe for both more power and a more aggressive sound.

Technical Note. Installation requires minor modification of rear bumper cover for the tips to exit correctly; a template is included in kit.

        Buyer beware

The good. Looks terrific. Acceleration is smoother and there is more power. The bad. This was professionally installed the mechanic is very experienced in mustangs. He owns them and almost exclusively works on all that come into his shop. The x pipe he said was not even a Ford produc. Had different stamping. The clamps to hold them on were not effective. Tried but they rattled and leaked exhaust too the cabin. They had to be taken off and welded. The clamps to hold on the mufflers... well he said he had no idea what they were for but they in no way would work. The right muffler was dented. Fortunately on the top so it is not noticeable. Left tail pipe scratched and dented. On the bottom, not that noticeable. Very poor quality control.AM said to send in the mechanics noted and they will see what they can do. We'll see .

        5 2006 V6 - JoshC Installation Time: Afternoon

        Easy install ok sound.

I went from a custom H pipe with Borla Stingers to this setup. The Borlas had a nice rumble down low but fell flat at high RPMs (of course it's a v6). It also had an ungodly amount of drone on the highway. The FRPP setup has zero drone, looks good, and will growl some if you get on it. Overall, I'm happy with the setup and being able to hear again while on the highway.

        True Dual Exhaust

Improved throttle response and highway mpg. Great V6 tone (not very loud or deep).

        Ford performance exhaust

Not loud at all, sounds real good, looks real good, not for somebody that wants a real loud system. Fit real well, looks good sticking out the back. Definitely increased the power, also made it shift smoother

        Awesome upgrade for my '06

After a lot of research for a dual exhaust conversion I decided chose the Ford Performance and am glad I did. First of all no drone at highway speeds like I had with my axle back exhaust. It looks perfect with the prepainted GT bumper that I installed. It sounds great, not loud at all at idle or cruising on the highway but has a very nice growl when I get on the gas. Overall couldn't be happier with the fit and finish and the shop that did the install made note of the quality of the exhaust.

        Very Nice Growl

Awesome exhaust for your v6. Although, It does drone at exactly 1400rpm/50mph (could be just mine). This exhaust makes my v6 sound like a v8 at lower rpms.

        Roars But Rattles

I got and had professionally installed the Ford Performance dual exhaust system. I chose it over the others since it was Ford designed and I have zero non-Ford parts in my car. It looks awesome and sounds great... BUT... there is a rattle that occurs at idle after the car warms up. Nothing is loose and nothing is touching anywhere for it to vibrate against a frame or body part. I am starting to regret the choice.

        Awesome exhaust upgrade

Awesome upgrade! Sounds the same as the GTs. The installation guides made the job easier then anticipated a lift is highly recommended! Can be done in stands but not fun. The guide said 3 hours took us five with two trips for saw blades and a clamp.
