Works extremely well and worth the extra money. Not quite sure though why it says it only fits a manual, I put it in my automatic and had no problems with fitment.Helpful (1)

Well worth the investment
One of the most beautiful pieces of aluminum welding I have ever seen. Shame it's not very visible when installed. As far as function , spent three hours driving in 95 degree heat , ac running, stop and go traffic, enthusiastic driving after traffic opened up, and the temp gauge never moved once. Very happy.Helpful (6)

The Best Radiator
Right when you take it out of the box you know it was worth the extra few dollars. Runs great, keeps my Pony cooler than the stock radiator, glad I spent the extra money on this one!Helpful (6)

Ready for track time
Had this radiator installed along with the oil cooler prior to SCCA track night at charlotte motor speedway. Ran three 20 min sessions wide open, and the temp gauge didn’t budgeHelpful (10)

Works well, almost perfect fit
The upper post for the radiator bracket on the drivers side is between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch off (toward the center of the car), which causes the bracket to sit crooked. I was able to bolt the bracket down, but just barely (three stars for fitment because of this). Other than that, everything went smoothly, and it cools my 427 Windsor much better than the OEM radiator did. I went from 210 on the gauge (on the freeway) down to 190-195. (5 stars for performance gain) A little advice for people doing this at home - spend the money on a proper vacuum assist cooling system filler tool (I got the AirLift 550000). You also need an air compressor (at least 13 gallon capacity) to make it work, but it takes less than 10 minutes to completely fill your cooling system with no air pockets. When you buy the tool, know that you also have to buy a 1/4-inch male air hose connector because the tool doesn't come with one. I selected a time to install of an afternoon because I had to remove my front fascia to get the radiator out (I have front-mounted dual electric pusher fans that prevented the radiator from coming out). Most of you will probably be able to pull the OEM fan/radiator out as a single unit without removing the fascia, so it will take you less time.Helpful (10)

A challenging install!
100 aluminum and hand made in the USA! Whats not to love... The install! She may cost more then some others but don't past her up! This radiator is meant for road racing but has all the provisions for an OEM fitment. You will have issues with the condenser. The lower studs on the radiator to mount the condenser proved to be extremely challenging. I need to remove both AC lines to get enough room to mount everything correctly. This radiator is larger and eats into engine bay space but every OEM part will fit. Performance gain is quite impressive overstock. You will never think about removing this radiator once installed. If your a track rat or HPDE nut this is a must will notice the difference after a 10minute session. So now I have road racing cooling with air conditioning whats not to love!Helpful (9)

The radiator wasn't as bolt in as advertised, but it wasn't too bad to install. A second set of hands is highly recommended. I had to trim a couple of hoses as well as a support on the air intake tube connected to the grill. I track my car and so far this thing hasn't even broken a sweat. My temperatures were almost normal (~213° F) while thrashing it for 20 minutes at a time paired with the boss oil cooler. Overall I'd say it is a good buy and it should last the lifetime of the car given how durable it is.Helpful (9)

Excellent quality but tight fit
I was pleased with the quality of this Ford Racing radiator. The overall installation is not very technical however the real challenge is to put it in place....as it is twice the thickness of the OEM radiator the available space is very limited and you need to patient and find the right combinaison of moves.Helpful (8)
Will this fit after installing a supercharger kit and all the extras that go along with it as far as having enough room?
Hi,we will need more info about your build to help you with your question about this Ford Performance Aluminum Radiator please feel free to give us a call or send us a email so we can help you with your question. http://www.americanmuscle.com/contact.html
How much lighter is this radiator vs. stock?
This radiator will be around 8-12 pounds lighter than the stock radiator.
Will this radiator fit with a procharger supercharger since the intercooler piping leaves no room for radiator thi knees change?
The Ford Performance Aluminum Radiator will be compatible with the Procharger Supercharger Kit.
The description states it fits automatics; however, one of the reviews stated it did not fit his automatic and he had to return it. I recently purchased one but it is still in the box and not installed yet because I am waiting for my new radiator hoses to ship. I have a 2007 Mustang GT with an automatic transmission. Will this radiator work on my vehicle?
The Ford Performance Aluminum Radiator will be a direct replacement for manual transmission Mustangs, however Mustangs equipped with the automatic transmission will require an external trans cooler, as this radiator does not have a built in trans cooler.
Planning on upgrading to an aluminum radiator and need to know how much coolant I would need. Does anyone know the capacity difference between the stock radiator and the ford racing radiator?
This FORD PERFORMANCE RADIATOR will hold a 1/2 gallon (apx) over stock radiators, for safe installation install the system and fill with the recommend coolant.
This will work with your build yes.
The Ford Performance Aluminum Radiator will work on your 2014 GT with the Procharger Stage II Kit.
The Ford Performance Aluminum Radiator will have no issues fitting with the SVT Performance Cooling Fan.
You should not experience fitment issues Ford Performance Aluminum Radiator, Ford Performance SVT Performance Cooling Fan, and Boss 302 oil cooler.
The Ford Performance Aluminum Radiator will fit Roush 427R with the M90 supercharger.
This Ford Performance Aluminum Radiator will not fit your 2007 Mustang V6. The placement and dimensions will not properly work with your vehicle.
There will mostly be very little clearance between the JLT S3 Intake and the Ford Performance Aluminum Radiator (05-14 GT, 12-13 BOSS). If you were to install this, you would need to make some slight modifications to make them fit together.
Yes it will fit have fun with the build!!!!!!!
