      Why Not?

Had this done while installing new 3.73 gears. Even tho my 2010 is low mileage, about 45,000 miles, it just seemed to make sense to do it all. Preventative maintenance is always a good thing.

      Smooth and Quiet

Installed by professional shop...was worried about gear whine...however car is quietest it's ever been. Shop says they always have good success with Ford Gears...but only have had problems with aftermarket gears.

      You cant' go wrong

OEM parts and perfect fit! Put them in the freezer for a few hours and with a bearing installer or using the old bearing and a block of wood they go right in. Just like new, a nice tight fit! I replaced these when I changed out my axles to the Moser Street Axles.

      BEARINGS

Heard some noise from the rear end and immediately assumed it was the axle bearings. That wasnt the case, however I changed them with these ford performance bearings and, cool, i have new bearings now.

      No Leaks

Had this seal kit installed by my local hotrod shop I go to. Had a small leak on my pinion seal so had the whole kit installed when I changed the gears in the diff. Since the axle had to be taken apart anyway got these to install for insurance so the axle didn't have to be taken apart again just for these seals and bearings. So far no leaks and seams to be working well. If you are taking the axle apart might as well replace these also, do it all in one shot. Saves money and time that way.

      Not impressed

Read all the other reviews on here, thought it was going to give me better times. This is NOT the cast. First gear is 0-28 mph. Second is to about 45 and third is up to 60 fourth is to 80. What I realized is first gear, is about useless due to the shift being so quick. I wish I would have gone 3.7 instead. These gain nothing other than drastically dropping top end. Unless you like to spin your tires when you hit the gas because they are good for that, but spinning isn't winning.

Can't go wrong with Ford parts

My seals were leaking so i decided to change the bearing also. I also change to a Ford racing dif cover at the same time. Other than you'll need some special tools to remove and install the bearing, it was extremely easy and fast. Once the axles were out, it took less than 10 minutes to replace both bearing and seals.
