High-Power Fuel Delivery. The Fuelab High Efficiency EFI In-Line Twin Screw Brushless Fuel Pump (-8AN; 550 LPH) delivers consistent high-flow fuel support rated up to 1250 horsepower. Designed for street and strip use, this pump ensures reliable fuel delivery to your EFI system, accommodating gasoline, diesel, methanol, and ethanol fuels. Its advanced twin screw pumping mechanism offers superior priming and resistance to vapor lock, essential for high-performance engine applications.
Construction and Appearance. The pump features a compact, lightweight billet aluminum housing anodized to MIL-A-8625 Type II standards for durability and corrosion resistance. It weighs less than 3 pounds and measures 7.13 inches in length with a 2.0-inch diameter. The internal motor utilizes high flux density neodymium magnets in a brushless, wet motor design, eliminating brushes and dynamic shaft seals to enhance longevity and reliability.
Installation. Installation difficulty is moderate. The pump includes billet aluminum mounting brackets, allowing for mounting bracket alignment without the need for drilling. It accepts standard or port style -8AN fittings, facilitating integration into existing fuel systems with minimal adaptation.
