Looking great on a Sterling Silver 2011 GT
The wheels were delivered by UPS in perfect condition and on time. No complaints whatsoever about this part.
I was able to swap the new tires in myself, however the first surprise was that the OEM lug nut wrench you have in your trunk did not work on these rims!
The reason is that these CS1 rims have the nuts recessed and the OEM lug nut wrench has a socket wall that is way too thick - it won't fit.
You will have to have (or buy) a 21 mm socket and lug use that instead.
You can buy everything you need from a hardware store, just don't get caught without one in the trunk!
I checked the pressure at Les Schwab and they were set to 44PSI on the front and 41PSI at the rear, so good job American Muscle for properly inflating these.
I don't have a definite verdict in terms of balancing these wheels yet - it seems that I have some vibration in the steering wheel at speeds of 80mph or higher.
Also, I was not able to retrain the wheels with the car's computer to this date. The TPMS tool I purchased from American Muscle just doesn't work.
I am setting my 2011 GT car computer in the training mode without fail or problem, but the TPMS tool it is not working (though the LED light comes on).
I will follow up with American Muscle reps about this issue, but so far I have been unsuccessful.
It is interesting and perhaps weird that it took the car computer two weeks to realize that there were new wheels installed on the car and give me the "tire sensor fault" error.
I tried retraining the wheels at this time as well, making sure that I am miles away from the OEM wheels, and the TPMS tools still doesn't work.
