It delivers improved drivability with increased clamping force for better power transfer and smooth, chatter-free engagement. Ideal for street use where power and smooth operation are both priorities.
Construction and Appearance. This clutch kit features an organic composite friction disc with a heavy-duty hub spring assembly for enhanced load capacity. The diaphragm style pressure plate offers approximately 30% more clamping pressure than stock, ensuring durability and consistent engagement. The components have a professional, rugged finish suitable for performance applications.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for experienced technicians and requires no modifications or drilling. The kit includes an alignment tool to facilitate precise clutch disc positioning during assembly.
Warranty. The clutch kit comes with the manufacturer’s limited 90-day warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Application. This kit fits the 1997 to 2004 Corvette C5 with LS1 or LS6 engines, using the early flat style flywheel. It does not fit models with recessed surface flywheels such as the LS2, LS3, or LS7 engines.
