Innovative Fuel Pickup Solution. The Holley Fuel Tank Pickup; HYDRAMAT (15X8 CROSS) - OFFSET OUT - 3/8 is a highly effective fuel pickup designed to prevent fuel starvation caused by fuel slosh during aggressive driving maneuvers or low fuel conditions. It utilizes advanced fluid dynamics to ensure continuous fuel delivery, promoting stable engine performance and preventing stalling in both stock and racing applications.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a beige, high-performance media with a unique internal reservoir made from specialized wicking materials, this flexible mat can be folded for easy installation. The offset 3/8" NPT outlet is engineered for universal compatibility and should not be used with thread sealing compounds, as they may impair fuel pump function.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required in most setups, especially when using recommended mounting hardware. The mat’s foldable and compressible design allows it to fit through various fuel cell openings, simplifying the installation process.
Warranty. Covered by a manufacturer’s limited 90-day warranty.
Application. Designed specifically for flat-bottom rectangular fuel cells with minimum dimensions of 15 inches in length and 8 inches in width. For best results, fuel return should be positioned near the HydraMat pickup at least one inch above the mat.
