The Hurst Competition Plus Shifter reduces shift throw while maintaining smooth side-to-side shifting for a comfortable yet sporty driving experience.

Hurst Styling and Performance. The Hurst Competition Plus Shifter not only improves the shifting performance of your S550 Mustang, but it also improves its interior appearance. The included chrome shift handle and white cue ball shift knob will add classic Hurst muscle car styling to your modern Pony's interior.

Retains Reverse Lock-out. The Hurst Competition Plus Shifter was engineered with a trigger rod to retain the Back Up Camera and the Reverse Lock-out safety feature of the modern manual Mustangs. It is designed to prevent the driver from accidentally shifting into reverse.

Technical Note. This Hurst Shifter includes a shift knob and handle with a unique thread pattern to Hurst (3/8-16 in). The factory Mustang shift knob (and aftermarket knobs) will not fit this Hurst shifter.
