    Reduces Engine Sludge. Prevent engine sludge from hampering the power and performance of your 2005-2010 GT Mustang by installing a JLT Version 3.0 Air/Oil Separator. Crankcase exhaust gases (better known as blow-by) is an oily vapor that re-enters through your engines PCV system and will gradually coat the inside of your throttle body and intake manifold. Overtime this oily residue can thicken and become engine sludge which will rob you of power. However, an Air/Oil Separator (sometimes known as a catch can) will capture these blow-by gases before they are able to re-enter the system to prevent the formation of this engine sludge. A JLT 3.0 Separator is a must have upgrade for all GT and Bullitt owners that want to prevent the formation of this sludge in order to maintain peak power and performance.

    Version 3.0. JLT improved on the designed of their old Oil Separator with the introduction of their new and improved Version 3.0. The first big change you will notice is that the Version 3.0 Separator has a larger 3 oz capacity, that is almost double that of their previous model. Another important difference is the filter media. Older JLT Separators used a Ford Motorcraft pre-filter, but now JLT uses a 1/2" thick 1/16th" aluminum honeycomb filter with a mesh stainless steel screen to trap even more fine oil vapors than before to prevent them from gumming up your engine.

    Superior Quality. This JLT Performance Air/Oil Separator is proudly manufactured right here in the USA. JLT CNC-machines their Air/Oil Separator from a solid block of billet aluminum for superior strength. Designed with a rubber o-ring, this Separator will maintain a tight leak-free seal. The base features a knurled texture, so that it can easily be gripped for removal during routine oil changes. JLT then completes their Catch Can in a durable clear anodized satin finish for impressive good looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.

    Easy Installation. JLT Performance engineered their Separator to be installed in under 10 minutes with just basic hand tools. This kit comes complete and includes two PCV lines with stock-style quick-disconnect fittings that allow for an easy plug-and-play installation. All the necessary parts are included, with no cutting or extra modifications required.

    Application. This JLT Performance Version 3.0 Satin Driver Side Air/Oil Separator is designed for use on 2005-2010 GT and Bullitt models. Installs on the driver side, same side as the PCV valve.

    Technical Note. This JLT Air/Oil Separator is not CARB certified, therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. It is intended for off-road use only.

    On the Drivers side setup can the canister be unscrewed and dropped with clearance and or do clamps have to be removed? Thank you.


    • To drain the driver side JLT V3.0 Satin Oil Separator, we recommend disconnecting the quick connect fitting at the intake to allow this to be swung to where there is adequate clearance to unscrew and remove the lower housing without spilling any oil present there.

      Oil Seperator - preventative maintainance

      Added eye candy under the hood. Looks and feels well designed for longevity. Great preventative maintainance to keep your intake from being layered with engine oil over time. Easy to use, take the collector off every month or so to empty out any valve cover "blow by" oil that it collects. Took 2 minutes to install.

      Perfect fit

      Fits perfectly, looks great , easy to access and dump the oil from detachable can . No more mess to clean up in my CAI...! I have both driver and passenger side. If you need them, i strongly suggest these. Can't get any easier with this direct fit application. I love them. Well worth the $$$.

      5/8" too long

      Great product, it was larger than I thought it was going to be. '05 GT you will need to cut off 5/8" off the valve cover side. easy enough with heat gun warm the plastic pull off fitting and cut off 5/8" on band saw, reheat and reinsert the fitting. a Two minute job.

      works great

      bought the car had what looked to be some homemade oil separator on it. Had a bit of fitment issue nothing major though hose going to the valve cover was about half an inch to long witch made install a little harder than expected other than that its great looks great and does what its supposed to do

      half happy

      simple to install,but not happy with the product fitment.the line from the intake manifold to the separator can is slightly kinked causing a small restriction to air flow,no performance problems.just a notable ugly appearance.I will make modification to the line at a later date.thanks AM

      2008 Bullitt caught can

      I bought both the drivers side and the passenger side oil separators. The drivers side is the only one that really works. I've used both for 2-3000 miles now and the drivers side is the only one with oil in the can. Definitely works!

      A MUST HAVE!

      Installed on an 06 GT. I was installing cmdp's and was shocked at the amount of carbon deposits and oil residue on the stock butterfly valves on the intake manifold in only 28,000 miles. I had read about this issue and it's real. This was the easiest mod I've done so far. Took 2 min. tops. I've since gone on a trip from WI. down to NC. (ran the Tail of the Dragon) and at 950 mi. it had about an ounce of oil in. I don't know if that is excessive but I ran her hard, put her away wet! Regardless this is a must have to keep all that oil from being sucked back into the engine. Highly recommend.

      Had to improvise

      Didn't fit quite right. Had to rip off the clamp and cut the hose about 3/8 of an inch. It now fits. It sits right in the middle of a congregation of wires and not sure where to place them. I'm trying different positions and will decide later which is best. Also now trying to find the same clamp that I ripped off and if I can't then I'll have to rip the other off and use 2 new clamps that will work. Hose clamps I suppose. The smallest ones they make. So 2 stars is all I'm giving this. Not sure how good it works yet, I just put it on 8/14/17. For the price, it should have fit without having to cut anything.

      Product is hi quality and functional...4 star rating due to it has to be modified to fit the Ford Racing intake...if you have a stock intake it fit perfect. Over all a great product.0

      Easy Install, looks nice!

      I personally do not have too much wrench experiece on my Mustang but this was a pretty easy and straight forward installation for me. The satin finish also looks great under the hood. It has been doing its job too, after not much driving it already has some oil collected.
