How to Install JLT Black Anodized Oil Separator 3.0 - Driver Side (99-04 Cobra, 03-04 Mach 1) on your Ford Mustang

1. Verify you have all of the following parts included In the kit:
(1) JLT Separator with (2) 90° fittings and (2) 1/2" hoses installed, (1) Mounting Bracket,
(2) M4xlO Screws, (1) l/2"-3/8" fitting, (1) l/2"-3/8" 90° Threaded Fitting,
(2) l /2" -5/8" Fi t t ings , (1) 1.5" 5/8" Hose wi th 1/2" fi t t ing ins tal led

2. Remove stock hard plastic hose.

3. Remove bolt from power steering bracket and use to mount JLT bracket. Put JLT bracket between engine and bracket.

4. FITTINGS
Cut hose on "J" side of Separator to 13" and thread 3/8" threaded 90° fitting into cut end. Use oil on fittings and install (1) l/2"-3/8" fitting In the hose on the "T" side.

5. Route hoses under existing lines along the valve cover and install Separator onto JLT bracket with sus glied screws.      

6. Insert "3" side fitting into the 3/8" hose on the manifold and the "T" side fitting into the 3/8" hose on the PCV valve.      

7. DONE!

(2) M4x10 Screws, (1) 1/2"-3/8" fitting, (1) 1/2"-3/8" 90° Threaded Fitting,
2 1/2"-5/8" Fittings 1 1.5" 5/8" Hose with 1/2" fitting installed

2. Remove stock hard elastic hose.

3. Use existing nut to mount bracket shown here.

4. FITTINGS
Use oil on fittings and install both 1/2"-5 8" fittings into both hoses.

5. Route hoses under existing lines along the valve cover and install Separator onto JLT bracket with sugglied screws.      

6. Insert "3" side fitting into the 3/8" hose on the manifold and the "T" side fitting into the 3/8" hose on the PCV valve.      

7. DONE! CIRCLES show where your connections will be.

1. Verify you have all of the following parts included in the kit:
(1) JLT Separator with (2) 90° fittings and (2) 1/2" hoses installed, (1) Mounting Bracket,
(2) M4x10 Screws, (1) 1/2"-3/8" fitting, (1) 1/2"-3/8" 90° Threaded Fitting,
(2) 1/2"-5/8" Fittings, (1) 1.5" 5/8" Hose with 1/2" fitting installed

2. Remove stock hard plastic hose.

3. Remove bolt from power steering bracket and use to mount JLT bracket. Put JLT bracket  between engine and bracket.      

4. FITTINGS
Rotate the 90 degree fitting on the J side of the Oil Separator facing down.

Cut hose on "J" side of Separator to 13" and the 90° fitting/5/8" hose combo into cut end. Use oil on fittings and install (1) 1/2"-5/8 fitting in the hose on the "T" side.      

5. Route hoses under existing lines along the valve cover and install Separator onto JLT bracket with supplied screws.      

6. Insert "3" side fitting onto the fitting on the manifold and the "T" side fitting into the 5/8 hose on the PCV valve.      

To properly clean the filter in the Oil Separator, spray any degreaser or solvent through it and let it air dry. Clean it every 10,000 miles.
