Description
Improved Performance. Improve the performance level of your 2011-2017 V6 Mustang with the addition of this J&L Version 3.0 Oil Separator that prevents oil particles caused by blow-by from returning to the intake for combustion. The oil separator eliminates sludge buildup in the intake and the engine that accumulates on internal engine components decreasing performance. This J&L Oil Separator is ideal for Mustang enthusiasts that want to keep their engine clean for improved performance and longevity.
Version 3.0. J&L improved on the designed of their old Oil Separator with the introduction of their new and improved Version 3.0. The first big change you will notice is that the Version 3.0 Separator has a larger 3 oz capacity, that is almost double that of their previous model. Another important difference is the filter media. Older J&L Separators used a Ford Motorcraft pre-filter, but now J&L uses a 1/2" thick 1/16th" aluminum honeycomb filter with a mesh stainless steel screen to trap even more fine oil vapors than before to prevent them from gumming up your engine.
Superior Quality. This J&L Oil Separator Company Air/Oil Separator is proudly manufactured right here in the USA. J&L CNC-machines their Air/Oil Separator from a solid block of billet aluminum for superior strength. Designed with a rubber o-ring, this Separator will maintain a tight leak-free seal. The base features a knurled texture, so that it can easily be gripped for removal during routine oil changes. J&L then completes their Catch Can in a durable clear anodized satin finish for impressive good looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.
Plug-And-Play Installation. This J&L V3.0 Oil Separator is a direct replacement for the factory PCV valve hose. The separator hose clips are exactly the same as the original equipment PCV valve hose to facilitate a plug-and-play installation process with no tools required.
Application. This J&L Oil Separator Company Version 3.0 Satin Passenger Side Oil Separator kit is specifically designed to fit all 2011-2017 Mustang models equipped with a 3.7L V6 engine.
