      Description

      Extreme Boost Drag Racing Camshafts. The Kelford Cams Boosted Stage 3 Turbo Racing 286/288 Camshafts are built for the most demanding twin-turbo drag racing applications, engineered for engines producing over 2500 horsepower. Optimized for high-RPM methanol-fueled race engines, these camshafts deliver aggressive lift and duration profiles for maximum airflow and performance under extreme boost pressures.

      Construction and Appearance. Designed with advanced engineering and precision grinding, these camshafts are capable of operating at up to 10,200 RPM while maintaining valve train stability. They are compatible with variable cam timing systems and require aftermarket pistons with deep valve pockets, as well as upgraded valve springs such as the KVS255 kit for optimal performance.

      Installation. Installation is highly technical and intended for professional race engine builders. Proper setup requires supporting modifications, precise cam timing, and high-performance valve train components.
