Hey, Stephanie with americanmuscle.com, and I'm going to be talking about the Koni STRT shocks and struts available for your '87 to '93 V8 Mustangs. Koni is, no doubt, one of the premier manufacturers of shocks and struts in the world, whether we're talking about OEM or aftermarket suspension tuning, and they've been making variations of the modern-day shock absorber since the 1930s. If you're looking to make your Mustang ride and handle better, Koni would be a great place to start. The STRTs are going to be Koni's entry level dampener with the next step up being Koni's sports or yellows, which are adjustable. So with that being said, the STRTs will cost less but they're non-adjustable when it comes to the dampening. They will still provide you with a sporty and firm ride and, more importantly, they're better designed to be used with a wide variety of aftermarket spring options, especially when you compare them to the factory shocks and struts. The Konis here are a twin-tube shock and strut design, and that's something that you'll find with a lot of the aftermarket dampeners in this price range. If you wanted to go monotube, like a Bilstein, for instance, then you'll have to spend a few more bucks, but again, if you're looking for a good solid upgrade over your worn out factory shocks and struts, then the STRTs are a great option. And a lot of customers have told us just that. Just read some of the customer reviews on the product pages, and you'll see how many customers feel about the performance of the STRTs.Getting the new shocks and struts installed really isn't too hard of a job, especially if you have access to a lift. Either way, just figure a few hours to get the fronts and rears knocked out and don't forget a spring compressor when you're getting ready for the install. As always, guys, you know that you can reach out to a Mustang expert at any time if you ever have any questions about a particular product or even an install and they'd be more than happy to help you out.So if you're looking to upgrade the worn out, or possibly blown, factory shocks and struts for your daily driver or your weekend warrior, and you don't want to break the bank while doing so, then be sure to check out the Koni STRTs for your '87 to '93 V8 Mustang here at americanmuscle.com.
