The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; Standard Grade; 3-Inch is designed to keep the check engine light off by helping your vehicle meet Federal/EPA emissions requirements for pre-OBDII federally registered vehicles. This universal converter adapts to various applications, performing catalytic reactions that reduce harmful exhaust emissions to meet federal standards.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds, this catalytic converter offers exceptional corrosion resistance and long service life. Its clam-shell stainless steel body is equipped with a heat shield made of aluminized steel for added durability and protection.
Installation. This catalytic converter requires welding for installation and is intended for professional installation. Its compact and lightweight design allows fitting in tight or confined engine areas with ease.
Warranty. The product includes a 5-year construction warranty and a 25,000-mile emissions warranty to ensure quality and compliance support.
Application and Fitment. This is a universal fit catalytic converter compatible with a broad range of pre-OBDII federally registered vehicles. It is not a direct-fit replacement and is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York due to emissions regulations.
