      Description

      GT Style Sound. If you want to give your new 2010 V6 Mustang the look and sound of a GT then look no further than the Magnaflow Dual Exhaust Cat-Back System. This catback not only improves sound, but it also improves horsepower with it's non restrictive free flowing mandrel bent design.

      No Cutting or Welding Required. Unlike other aftermarket V6 dual exhaust kits that require cutting and welding the stock Mid Pipe, the Magnaflow system simply bolts right up to the factory Y-pipe for a no hassle installation.

      Stainless Steel Construction. Constructed from high quality 2.5" mandrel bent Stainless Steel tubing this Cat-Back Exhaust system from Magnaflow features two aggressive straight-through style mufflers that end in dual brightly polished 4" stainless tips for great Muscle Car styling.

      Application. Made to be a direct bolt on, this catback will bolt straight up to the factory Y-Pipe without any extra modifications required on the 2010 V6 Mustang to give it the deepest, most aggressive tone possible.

        5 2010 V6 - Dandy Installation Time: Shop Install Installation Cost: $100-$250

        Very nice sound

        I also put pacesetter lt headers, magnaflow insulated X pipe, and high flow cats. I also have a k&n intake and sct tuner. All those things together make a very unique deep sounding exhaust, although at 3000 rpms and over it is a bit raspy. It still sounds crazy! When I first got it with the Y pipe installed and just this kit I liked it. It sounded like a dump truck with just the headers added. Then I finally added the cross over and that made it sound good. With the Y pipe it is not true duel exhaust so hp gains will be basically nonexistent. But I really like these mufflers they have a great sound. Oh and the shop I took it to hated me. It was terrible fitment, but the shop did it, and it worked out fine.

        Magnaflow 16575 Dual Cat Back

        If you want your V6 to sound like a GT, this cat back is for you! Combined with an aftermarket rear valance, it will give your pony's rear end an aggressive look that will fool almost anybody in your tracks into thinking you have a V8. Highway drone is minimal, but automatic ponies be warned: There is an AGONIZING drone at 2500 RPM, which the engine seems to hover at during normal acceleration. Make sure to insulate your trunk with Dynamat or whatever you prefer. I personally use foam board and it seems to help. It might not be as loud in a Pony Package as it has better sound insulation. It's just something you have to get used to. All in all, it's a great product that is a must-have for any single-outlet V6er!

        Magnaflow Dual Cat-back for 05-10 V6 Mustang

        Excellent product! Had it installed at a muffler shop in 2 hours. They told me to come back in a couple of days to make sure everything was working properly. Only thing I've noticed so far was that the pipes jiggle a lot in the hangers and I had to use a piece of heat resistant foam to stop the left side from rattling against the hanger when I go over bumps. The sound is wonderful and will not disappoint. Very deep and throaty at low rpm's and in the lower gears. Droning is quite minimal but only apparent at 2600 rpm and up in the higher gears. When you slow down or down shift there is a mean raspy/popping/gargling sound produced. There is definitely a fair deal of volume but I wouldn't say they're "too loud". Not race track worthy but excellent for off the race track. The performance boost was noticeable but it won't make it feel like installed a turbo or supercharger. Somewhere in the 10 hp range but you can definitely feel it. Pairs well with a performance air intake to make full use of the added flow. I'll see what happens with the sound over the next month or so as they get broken into more. It's an excellent product and I would recommend it to any V6 owner. Would also recommend getting it professionally done unless you have experience. Cheers!

        Amazing exhaust

        AM is the best! I got this exhaust in no time. After I installed it, my car suddenly came to life. It sounds amazing! especially at high revs! huge thanks guys

        Amazing

        These pipes and mufflers make my car sound so amazing i dont want to ever stop driving it. but the install was described by my mechanic as very complicated and he ended up welding his own hangers and some couplings but it is STILL a best buy for any 2010 v6 IMO

        2010 v6

        good product. i had it installed by the dealer. i like the sound but i have had couple honda civic jokes. make no mistake an after market exahust will not make a 6 sound like the GT. however it sounds great when you take off and climb through the gears. i recomend the product.

        not happy

        had 03 mustang v6 with magnaflows sounded great,does not sound as good on my 2010,kind of high pitched not happy looking for abetter sound check it out before you make an expensive mistake.cost 750.00 if you dont do it yourself,also have to replace rear bottom facia.

        Great

        Took it to the shop to get both sides welded on with custom hangers. Sounds like a absolute BEAST!!!! Sounds completely different from other magnaflows. i cant explain. Jus has its own sound to it. MUST HAVE!

        nice, but

        I installed in on my 2010 v6, the end result was all good but getting there was not. the product stated direct bolt on, yeah right, I had to weld on the drivers side because there were no threaded holes to bolt on the hangers. But all in all the exhaust sounds and looks great. I have had alot of compliments and people think it is a 2011.

      what is the headrs fit with this catback? long or shorty?

      • The Magnaflow Dual Cat-Back Exhaust (10 V6) is compatible with long tubes and shorty headers alike! The question is finding the corresponding mid-pipe that would bolt up to both applications, but that entirely depends on the headers you are interested in.
