Construction and Appearance. This catalytic converter is built from durable 308 MIG welded stainless steel, featuring 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing for superior corrosion resistance. It has a spun stainless steel body paired with an aluminized steel heat shield for increased longevity and resistance to harsh conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a direct-fit design requiring no cutting or welding, suitable for DIY enthusiasts with basic tools. It includes essential hardware—two Torca clamps and two donut gaskets—to simplify the installation process.
Warranty. This product comes with a 5-year construction warranty and a 25,000-mile emissions warranty, offering reliability and peace of mind.
Application. This catalytic converter fits the 2012-2013 Chevrolet Corvette with the 6.2L engine (C6 generation). It is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York due to specific state emissions regulations.
