Description
Standard-Grade Catalytic Converter. Environmentally conscious drivers want to ensure that their vehicles leave as small a carbon footprint as possible. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter helps you do that by converting harmful emissions into steam. This standard-grade converter features 2.25-Inch inlets and outlets and is seam-welded to ensure good thermal insulation. Its ribbed clamshell design improves performance by minimizing distortion.
Superb Construction Quality. Magnaflow uses stainless steel to build a catalytic converter that’s capable of withstanding the heat of the many gases that flow through it. This material also has built-in rust protection to ensure corrosive materials don’t affect performance. The part arrives with a sleek, silver coloring.
Cutting and Welding May Be Required. Installing a catalytic converter often requires welding, especially if the stock converter doesn’t bolt onto your vehicle. You may also need to cut your original converter away from the undercarriage. Professional installation is recommended in most cases.
Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty. Magnaflow’s limited lifetime warranty protects you against material and craftsmanship defects. The warranty is voided if the converter isn’t installed correctly or if it’s damaged due to an accident or misuse. You must provide both the warranty certificate and proof of purchase if you need to use this warranty.
