This exhaust sounds very good, on the edge of sounding like a v8. Has a nice pretty deep growl but isn't as loud as preferred. Sound is a good 9/10 but loudness is ab 7.5/10. Installation took shop just over an hour, but i had to get the rear valence cut at a separate body shop since the muffler shop can’t do body work.Helpful (0)

The first time I turned it on was like woah, that's my car?? I was surprised how amazing it sounds especially on a v6. I got a 69 Mach 1 and no modern car will ever compare to a classic grumble but this sounds nice for a modern mustang. Well worth my money.Helpful (7)

Magnaflow Comp. Quad 3.7l Axle Back
Visually stunning and sounds equally as amazing. Install is simple and easy to do so long as you take your time and measure as accurately as possible. I also have the 2012 GT500 rear valence on my vehicle as well, and the cutout, although designed for the stock 3.7l bumper, will work to give you a general outline for your cut. There was custom cuts involved in my work as the rear valence was different but it was easy enough to complete regardless. Overall, the product is a simple install and completely changes the look and sound of the car.Helpful (6)

This exhaust sounds and looks great!
Definitely a great exhaust for your Mustang! Sounds great at start and really good up to 3,000 RPM. Installation was really simple, hardest part was getting the stock exhaust off.Helpful (7)

This is by far the best exhaust I have bought from AM. I had pypes blackout bomb and honestly compared to the mangaflow pypes cannot compare. The managflow is about double in price but worth every penny. Took away the high pitch sound and replaced it with more of a growl and rumble. The look of it is also perfect.Helpful (8)

Not sure at first but I am now, great product!
I was hessitant to purchase at first but aftter installation i'm so glad I did. It arrived super quick as ussual. Cutting the bumper was a little scarry but as long as your carefull it turns out great. the sound is incredable with a little drone at highway speed. But overall a great product!Helpful (7)

Not to bad!
For a v6 mustang this is the best exhaust out there! You can not find anything better! I will say that it is loudest between 2500 rpm and 3500 rpm. But at 1000 rpm whenever you are just riding around you can not really hear it. Since this is a v6 it will not be as loud as a v8! But i can tell you that this will be the loudest v6 around! And not only will it be the loudest v6 but also gives the car a very nice look! I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for exhaust to get this one.Helpful (11)

This product is great if you like quad tips
This exhaust is one of the best for the 2011-13 mustang V6. It has a quality sound making the v6 sound like its supercharged. I highly recommend this product for v6 customers and hope you enjoy.Helpful (7)

magnaflow quad tip exhaust.
The day I got the product I bought, which is the magnaflow quad tip exhaust. I was so excited to install it and I can't wait till hearing the sounds but I waited about one week for the installation,I didn't have time so I waited till my day off..installing the exhaust was easy and fitted as long as u take time cutting parts of the bumper. Going to the body you loss lots of money. If I've gone to the shop I would spent 250 for that but I decided not to, so I did it myself and my cousin thanks to my cuz doh haha, like I told u its easy and fit..Helpful (7)

Magnaflow quad tip is THE best.
Hands down most amazing, best sounding, best looking exhaust on the market. There is no, I mean NO exhaust that could ever surpass this in performance gains, looks, sound, or the smile on your face when you put these on. If you want to see a video of this in action check out this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qaMRswKoHU I'll also attach a clip from the video.Helpful (13)
Will i need to do any modifications if i have the GT 500 rear valance?
You will not need to do any modification when installing the Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust with the GT500 Rear Valence.
When i see the product description it says the price and under it. It says (each) so does that mean i have to buy 2 of them? or is a set of 2 ?
The Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust (11-12 V6) will be sold as a pair. You would only need to order one.
So i am a newbie with modding veichles but would like to know if this would work with stock piping. (Sorry if this is a goofy question). Also, could you guys do a video of this like you do with other parts? I have to research on youtube for it but to be honest, im not sure if they have just this or an entirely updated system (plus there is only 1 or 2 videos at that). And also, how loud are they? One more question, in title says competition. Are these street legal? I am not into much of the competition sports, i just want the cool looks and sound... But hopefully not too loud.
This will bolt on to your stock pipes that you currently have without a problem, but will require modification of the rear bumper. These will give you a loud, aggressive sound that will sound like a classic muscle car without being so loud that it is bothersome. I have linked to this below on their direct site so that you can hear it in the video. We do not have a video of these now, but it is on the list! I would recommend checking out the customer submitted install guide so that you can get a look at what goes into installing this, I added a link to that below. These are street legal in most states, however are not CARB Certified for CA. I would recommend looking into local laws to be sure that they will not be too loud for ordinances in your area, and that you will pass inspection with these installed before installing them. https://www.magnaflow.com/products/15076-performance-exhaust-magnaflow-ford-mustang-competition-series-axle-back-performance-exhaust-system https://www.americanmuscle.com/magnaflow-quad-axleback-1112v6-cust-install.html
Will this work on a 2013 mustang v6 with the gt500 valance?
Out of the box, this Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust will not be a direct fit for the 2013 Mustang V6.
I have a 2012 that I've installed Item #Item 53675, Ford GT500/CS/BOSS Rear Diffuser. Will it need to be cut, one reviewer seemed to indicate it did.
The Ford GT500/CS/BOSS Rear Diffuser will not fit the Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust without modification, as the Diffuser is designed for single tip exhausts.
We are frequently updating our sites inventory and there is always a chance we will carry a Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust that will work in conjunction with the 2013 V6's in the near future.
Unfortunately, this Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust is specifically designed to fit 11-12 V6 model Mustangs, and would not fit a 13-14.
This axle back is only meant for the 11-12 models as they have a slightly different rear end than the 13-14 models.
The Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust is specifically designed to be used with 2010-12 V6 Mustangs. The body style of your 2013 V6 is different so the mounting points of the exhaust as well as the routing of the exhaust tubes will not properly match up. If you wanted to install it on your vehicle, you would most likely have to modify it significantly to get it to work with your vehicle.
The Pypes Mid Muffler Cat Back Exhaust will need ti be cut and modified to have the Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust installed with it. I would recommend taking the car to an exhaust shop to have that done.
Due to its very free flowing, chamberless design, the Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust will be one of the more raspy exhausts we carry.
The Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust will work with your BBK Off Road XPipe installed.
As this is designed specifically for 11-12 V6 Mustangs, we would not be able to guarantee proper fitment upon installation.
The Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust is designed specifically for the 10-12 V6 and would not fit the 13-14.
Unfortunately, the Magnaflow Competition Quad Tip Axle-back Exhaust (11-12 V6), item # 48048, (http://www.americanmuscle.com/magnaflow-quad-axleback-1112v6.html) is only designed to work with 11-12 V6 Mustangs. The 2010 V6 did not come with dual exhaust unless you did a True Dual Conversion. Also, the tubing that connects to the pipe over the axle is styled differently between the years. You would have to do some modifications to make this work.
