    Hey guys, Stephanie with, here with these Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates, that are available for a wide range of Mustangs, from 1979 all the way up to the S550 Mustang. These caster camber plates are going to be a good option for those Mustang owners out there that have lowered their Mustang with a drop of more than one and a half inches and would like to gain some alignment adjustability from a brand that's highly reputable for its quality and performance. Lowering your car is going to change the geometry of the suspension, which is what's going to create the need for an alignment in order to keep everything in spec and proper. Because the factory plates only have so much adjustment, aftermarket caster camber plates like these ones here, are better at dialing in alignment specs, so they're going to have benefits like more consistent steering and better steering response, especially if you have suspension upgrades already. Tires are obviously going to wear better when the car's properly aligned, and another little plus here of the caster camber plates is the fact that you can actually dial in your suspension for a particular track or demand, depending on what you're planning on doing with your Mustang. Looking at these on the table here, these are a set for the 2015 and up Mustang, so they're going to look a little different than the traditional caster camber plates that you may be used to seeing, but as the chassis and suspension change throughout the different gens, the style of the plates change too, so just make sure that you're shopping in the correct gen for your car. Like I said in the beginning, Maximum Motorsports has created plates for all Fox Body through S550 Mustangs with the same features. All of these plates have Teflon-lined, spherical bearings and they're all powder-coated black, and have a two-plate design, which separates the caster and the camber adjustment. This allows for caster or camber to be adjusted independently. You don't see the two-plate design in all caster camber plate options that are out there, so this is definitely a nice touch. And it's definitely worth mentioning here that these plates are capable of the largest continuous range of alignment settings possible. So because Maximum Motorsports is known for quality and performance, and because these plates have features like the ones that I just mentioned, they're at a premium price point. They tend to be one of the higher priced options on the site, usually costing between $200 and $400, depending on which gen you're shopping for. And just as a side note, these plates might not work with all coilover setups, but those instances are noted on the product pages, so just keep an eye out. Installing these plates is a little time consuming, but I wouldn't consider it a difficult install, even for the handful of guys out there that are going to have to do some drilling for these, and I'm talking to you '94 to '04 guys. You're going to at least want a jack and some stands, and the plates do come with detailed install instructions to help you through if you haven't done this before. No matter which gen you have, you're probably looking at about a few hours to complete the install and I'll call this a two on our scale. And just remember that you should take your car for an alignment after the install.     Does this model fit the ford racing handling package?

    Will the M.M. Caster Camber Plates work for Eibach Pro-System-Plus Suspension Kit w/ Solid Rear Sway Bar? I have a 2007 gt. Also, will I need or should I use Ford Performance GT500 Style strut Mount upgrade, or does the caster camber plates take this into consideration..


    • These caster camber plates would indeed work with that suspension kit. No need for the strut mount upgrade if you are getting the caster camber plates.

    Do these bolt straight to feal 441 coilovers?


    • We do not carry the Feal 441 coilovers, so we have been unable to do any testing with them and the Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates. i would recommend contacting Feal Suspension.

      No bueno

      I have had these on my lowered mustang for about a year now... they have been making an awful sound for months now, especially on passenger side. It's a popping sound every time a hit the slightest bump in the road. Might try steeda C/C plates or the J&M. I have eibach pro kit, sway bars, shocks and struts, steeda strut tower brace, bmr k-member brace, and bmr control arms.

      Standing Straight

      I have a 2009 Mustang with Ford Racing suspension upgrade kit. After the suspension upgrade was installed, the closest we could get the camber to zero was -1.5. After installing the Maximum Motorsports plates, the camber is now corrected to -0.1. Also, the new strut bearings are much more precise than the factory units; steering is noticeably crisper.

      MM C/C Plates

      Installed the MM C/C Pates myself and had the local speed shop do the alignment. I had new tires mounted and man what big difference! Perfect solution for my Shelby GT. I recommend these C/C plates. You will not be disappointed. Worth the $$. This is one aftermarket product that works. Lowerd Mustang? Then you need these. Period.

      Great product

      I got these CC plates as part of a proper lowering setup with spring and shocks/struts all in one install. In hopes of aligning everything enough prior to a professional alignment, we measured each side at the strut's top nut and used an angle iron at the floor and wheel. It was very easy to adjust and when I went for alignment, it was actually dead on. They didn't touch it. Also, the logo on the plate that you can see under the hood is a nice touch to show your high-quality parts choice. It came with high-quality mounting nuts, too. If you lower...these are a must.

      S197 Alignment

      My alignment shop said the MM plates made it easy to align my lowered Stang. Quality was good and shipping was fast and easy to track. Good job all around by MM and American Muscle!

      Clean look, easy install

      I choose these not because of price but because I didn't have to modify anything. Nice clean look because everything is underneath the strut tower. Also with my Cervini Hood, clearance was going to be an issue. These were a perfect match for what I needed. More adjustment then you'll ever need. Install was less then 2 hours for me and when it went to the shop alignment was a breeze. Construction and overall appearance of the pieces themselves is why I gave it a 4 star. I know you cant see them when installed but they do look a little cheap for the price. (my opinion) 40 bucks cheaper and I would say its a fair price. I am a little curious to see how they perform compared to the GT 500 strut bearings that I had to take out to put these in. The strut sits in these a little strange so hopefully its a nice quiet ride still..

      Best Caster Camber Plates for S197

      American Muscle shipped same day as ordered. I did my research and the Maximum Mototsports CC plates are the best on the market for the S197 Mustang and after installing them, I can confirm my research. Directions are spot on. Assembly went without problem except for getting the spacers down the shock shaft was a little tight, but that's precision. Allingment went smooth and quick

      Camber plates

      I purched the cheaper ones first and let me say I'm glad I sent them back. They are a little much on prise but over all I got my car alignment were I wanted it and haven't had any issues with it at all. The cheaper ones I bout before broke in the box ( I think they were the j&m or l&m something like that) would u want them to brake wihile your driving. I recommend to spend the money on these way better product than any of the other ones

      Saved my alignment...

      My car was kind of a freak. With nothing else (not lowered) but just Koni SRT.T struts and shocks, my camber was 1.6-1.7 degrees negative! I wanted to lower my car and didn't want to repeat my previous experience of only getting 20K miles out of my Hankook V12 tires because they were worn bald on the inside...I could have probably gotten 30K out of them if they had worn more evenly. The MM CC plates allowed me to set my camber at -1.2 degrees AFTER the installation of Steeda Sport springs. If I wouldn't have had the plates, I couldn't have gotten the adjustment necessary to get my alignment in a reasonable range for decent tire wear. I don't notice much harshness and definitely don't have any popping or noise problems. The steering does feel tighter and you do have more road feel which I prefer, some might not like.

      Much Needed!

      You really need these if you have dropped your car's suspension. I did a 1 1/2" drop and this is the best way to get your front end aligned properly.

      The instructions were for different models. So it was a little confusing and vehicle did not aligned properly ... the camber was a little on the negative still.

      Maximum Fun

      Instructions were very thorough and user friendly with plenty of great pictures. Easy to put together and install but definitely a two person job during the final install. only gave less than a 5 star on fit because the two spacers that fit over the shock shaft were not completely drilled through and had a ridge that prevented them from sliding down the shaft. A little file work and problem remedied.

      Maximum Motorsports Camber Plates

      Was able to get -2.5 degrees of camber with these. The installation was done by local shop, but the end result is really good. Only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the fact that a bit more noise (bumps in road) are audible with these plates over factory.

      Great product from one of the best in the business.

      I installed these along with Bilstein HD shocks/struts and H&R Super Sport springs. These allow you to get your toe, caster, and camber all in check and are far superior to camber bolts. The instructions were easy to follow, the install is not too time consuming, and the product itself is built extremely well. A definite must have to complete any suspension overhaul.

      Save Your Tires

      Nice product, the idea of having ability to lower the car and keep your suspension and tires in alignment is nothing short of awesome. Be aware, if you are hearing unusual sounds when hitting bumps check several things. Loose tie rod ends, sway bar bushings link ends, and if you have installed the Hawk brake pads and your tensioner springs have come off it could be the noise your hearing. I was so frustrated with the rattle sound after the MM Camber plates were installed, later to realize it was the Hawk brake pads making the rattle not plates. The Camber plates are terrific, AM is amazing.
