    Hey guys, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com, here with these Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates, that are available for a wide range of Mustangs, from 1979 all the way up to the S550 Mustang. These caster camber plates are going to be a good option for those Mustang owners out there that have lowered their Mustang with a drop of more than one and a half inches and would like to gain some alignment adjustability from a brand that's highly reputable for its quality and performance. Lowering your car is going to change the geometry of the suspension, which is what's going to create the need for an alignment in order to keep everything in spec and proper. Because the factory plates only have so much adjustment, aftermarket caster camber plates like these ones here, are better at dialing in alignment specs, so they're going to have benefits like more consistent steering and better steering response, especially if you have suspension upgrades already. Tires are obviously going to wear better when the car's properly aligned, and another little plus here of the caster camber plates is the fact that you can actually dial in your suspension for a particular track or demand, depending on what you're planning on doing with your Mustang. Looking at these on the table here, these are a set for the 2015 and up Mustang, so they're going to look a little different than the traditional caster camber plates that you may be used to seeing, but as the chassis and suspension change throughout the different gens, the style of the plates change too, so just make sure that you're shopping in the correct gen for your car. Like I said in the beginning, Maximum Motorsports has created plates for all Fox Body through S550 Mustangs with the same features. All of these plates have Teflon-lined, spherical bearings and they're all powder-coated black, and have a two-plate design, which separates the caster and the camber adjustment. This allows for caster or camber to be adjusted independently. You don't see the two-plate design in all caster camber plate options that are out there, so this is definitely a nice touch. And it's definitely worth mentioning here that these plates are capable of the largest continuous range of alignment settings possible. So because Maximum Motorsports is known for quality and performance, and because these plates have features like the ones that I just mentioned, they're at a premium price point. They tend to be one of the higher priced options on the site, usually costing between $200 and $400, depending on which gen you're shopping for. And just as a side note, these plates might not work with all coilover setups, but those instances are noted on the product pages, so just keep an eye out. Installing these plates is a little time consuming, but I wouldn't consider it a difficult install, even for the handful of guys out there that are going to have to do some drilling for these, and I'm talking to you '94 to '04 guys. You're going to at least want a jack and some stands, and the plates do come with detailed install instructions to help you through if you haven't done this before. No matter which gen you have, you're probably looking at about a few hours to complete the install and I'll call this a two on our scale. And just remember that you should take your car for an alignment after the install.         When I installed the MM CC plates on my '05 GT (stock suspension), MM also sold a coilover version of their plates. I want to verify that the plates I have on the car will work for Pedders Extreme Xa Coilover Kit.

        • These will not work with the Pedders coilovers. WIth the Pedders coilover kit, you will need to get the Pedders CC plates as well.

        Will the M.M. Caster Camber Plates work for Eibach Pro-System-Plus Suspension Kit w/ Solid Rear Sway Bar? I have a 2007 gt. Also, will I need or should I use Ford Performance GT500 Style strut Mount upgrade, or does the caster camber plates take this into consideration..

        • These caster camber plates would indeed work with that suspension kit. No need for the strut mount upgrade if you are getting the caster camber plates.

        I'm getting rid of the Tokico shocks and struts I've had on for 8 years. I will keep the HR lowering springs for now. I purchased the 05-14 GT500 Front Strut Mounts and Strange adjustable shocks and struts. Will this configuration with MM Caster Camber plates marry up to this package or will the Steeda Camber Caster Plates be best recommended? Thank You, JakyBlu

        • The caster camber plates all fit the same application, unless otherwise specified for a specific application. These will offer no different fitment than the Steeda version.

            Solved the alignment issue

            These worked great. It brought the car into spec, but not by much. Used with Eibach 1.5 all the way around and not sure what I would have done if I needed more adjustment, but hey it did what I needed and the look cool on the topside!

            Easy install

            Installed myself, and the instructions were actually pretty good. Just followed them to a T and had no issues. Pretty straight forward. Had the alignment done right after and they dialed in my caster camber. Time will tell for issues after hitting rough road of coarse. In Southeast Michigan it’s not hard to find mine fields here. Almost to scared to drive it.

            Better than expected!

            I thought the install on theses where going to be more troublesome, I was wrong. They go in pretty easy and the instructions included make sense. I am quite happy with these and would definitely recommend.

            MM Plates/08 Bullitt

            Installed with Ford Performance handling pack (1” drop). Ensured alignment was able to hit specs. No more popping from weak factory strut mounts or gambling with camber bolts. Alignment tech commented on ease of adjustment.

            A must for lowered cars

            Lowered (eibach sportlines) my car without getting the plates and even with camber bolts couldn't get the alignment sorted. Had my shop install these and now everything lines up perfectly. Save yourself the headache and purchase caster/camber plates when you lower your stang.

            Expensive but good product

            I had to pick these up to correct my camber after my Eibach Pro System Plus install for my 2010 GT. Along with the Eibach camber bolts (also from AM), these got my alignment in spec for my daily driver. No more uneven tread wear on my fronts. Paid my local shop $180 for install.

            C/C plates

            Lowered my mustang and didn't want to risk not getting the alignment right . Worked out good no complaints. Easy to install but I did have to tap the shims on to fit on strut.

            Caster Plates FTW

            Had a shop install and they went in smoothly. Only downside is I needed to buy poly-lock nuts because the originals just back themselves right back off the caster plate as you drive. $8 fix and they hold tight now.

            Rest assured, these are solid!

            Obsessing on upgrades and trying to do everything right while lowering your car? The adjustable caster camber plates, a critical part of correcting alignment geometry and maintaining handling performance if you lowered over an inch or so. I went with Eibach Sportlines, in my opinion, as low as one would go up front at about 1.5" for a DD. Initially I was going to go with JandM cc plates which were out of stock. After careful research, browsing forums and looking at reviews I went with the Maximim Motorsports for both the plates and their bumpsteer kit. Immediately you can tell it's not just a cheap solution, but a solid well constructed seemingly heavy duty well engineered design, especially compared to the absolute rubbish oem upper strut mounts wherein one side the tiny ball bearings spilled out of the cheap plastic retainer located top of strut. You should definitely go with cc plates or the GT 500 upper strut mounts to replace the oem ones as one of your first upgrades. Moving carefully and torquing to spec, took me 2 hours per side to replace strut, spring and install MM cc plates. If I had to do it again probably an hour. Got alignment at a performance shop for $120, yes it's more than usual but they nailed it perfect to oem spec. You can adjust these for track settings of you want now as well. The car drives awesome now, more fun to drive. The spring/strut/cc plates combo changed everything to make this a whole new animal, that actually handles solid really really well and lost that oem flimsy wandering and loose unconfident feeling in the wheel and the knocking you might up front from the worn oem upper mounts. I totally recommend the MM caster camber plates and it's a cool visual upgrade under the hood as well.

            Perfect for lowered stangs

            I've got lowering spring and adjustable koni struts and shocks. I wish I would have gotten these plates a long time ago. My stock mounts were worn out and started to make a clunking noise in the front end because one of them was falling apart. After installing these I felt a difference in steering right away and no more annoying clunking sound. All I have to do now is get an alignment done which will be easy because of the adjustability of these plates. Recommend to anyone who has lowered their mustang

            Much Needed!

            You really need these if you have dropped your car's suspension. I did a 1 1/2" drop and this is the best way to get your front end aligned properly.
