Enhances K-member Stiffness. Did you buy a 1994 or 1995 Ford Mustang Coupe model in order to race around a track or go off-roading? If so, you'll need to get a Maximum Motorsports Full Length Chassis Brace Package to keep your car's k-member stiff against side loads, especially when making sharp turns.
Attractive Design. The Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Brace and the 4-Point K-Member Brace both have a powdercoated black finish for an attractive appearance and protection from corrosion. The Chassis Brace package is made from bare steel material, structural steel web, and rectangular tubing. The MM Full Length Subframe Connectors are built using 1.5" x 2" x .083" wall thickness rectangular tubing and the longest connectors are 65".
Complex Installation. Installing the Full Length Chassis Brace package will be relatively difficult and may require expert installation. The MM Full Length Subframe Connectors require welding in order to install properly. These connectors also take approximately seven hours to install at home. However, one-piece reinforcements for the seat mounts do make installation somewhat easier.
Driver Safety and Car Performance. One of the main safety features of the Full Length Chassis Brace package is improving the functionality of the springs and shocks due to a stiffer chassis. A stiff chassis will enhance car performance and ride quality. In fact, the MM XL Series subframe connectors were found to be 95 percent stiffer than the average subframe connector available on the market.
Warranty. The Maximum Motorsports company doesn't offer warranties for most of its products due to off-roading and race track use.
