Description
Stop the Hop! Rear wheel hop when you aggressively accelerate is embarrassing and damaging to your 1979-1998 Ford Mustang. Fix it, and rear steer when you install the Maximum Motorsports Heavy Duty Rear Grip Package, which redesigns the rear suspension of your Mustang, replacing weak factory 4-link suspension and soft bushings, and changing the stance to a more aggressive one. Stick to the road when you corner and launch off the line with this upgrade package!
Sturdy Construction. This upgrade package includes a panhard bar and rear lower control arms that are made from heavy-duty extruded aluminum and 2 in. steel tubing. All are finished in durable black powder coating. The bushings and bearings are made from robust urethane which is far stronger and larger than the softer stock parts. PTFE-lining, 3-piece urethane bushings, and large spherical bearings also upgrade your weaker stock parts with far stronger and resilient ones.
Bolt-On Installation. This is a no-weld, bolt-on installation, so it is fairly easy. However, there may be problems if you have added other aftermarket parts that don't fit within the stock space, because you are fundamentally changing the rear suspension with the installation of this package. Everything you need for the install is included in the package.
No Warranty. No warranty is offered on these components from Maximum Motorsports because they consider their parts high-performance, or for competition.
