Description
The Rear Shouldn't Steer! But that's what happens when you get on it with your 1999-2004 Ford Mustang (excluding Cobra) and force your stock rear suspension to do too much work. You get wheel hop, too. You can fix it with an expensive Watts linkage, or by installing the Maximum Motorsports Heavy Duty Rear Grip Package, which replaces your stock rear suspension with stronger rear lower control arms, while also adding a panhard bar. No more embarrassing behavior out of your Mustang and add an aggressive lowered stance, too!
Robust Construction. The panhard bar included in this kit is made from extruded 6061-T6 aluminum coated with resilient black powder coating. The ends of the included rod are PTFE-lined and mounted in double shear for strength. The rear lower control arms are made from heavy-duty 2 in. steel tubes with 3-piece urethane bushings at the chassis ends and large spherical bearings at the axle ends. They are also finished with durable black powder coating.
Straightforward Installation. The installation itself is straightforward, but there are some things that must be considered if you are not upgrading from stock. If the upgrades you have made fit within the same space as stock parts, there shouldn't be a problem installing this package. All of the parts you need to install the package are included.
No Warranty. Maximum Motorsports makes most of their stuff for heavy-duty use or competition, so they don't offer any warranties on them.
