Description
Performance Upgrade. Since the ball joints for the original SVO front control arms are no longer made, you will need a performance upgrade. Maximum Motorsports Spindle/Ball Joint Adapters are meant to be used with their Front Control Arms. If you choose this upgrade, it will require installation of a coil over conversion kit. This allows retention of the original SVO spindles and brakes. All of these upgrades and modifications boast improved performance for your Foxbody. These ball joints are expected to last over 200,000 miles, so get to driving and enjoying your ride!
Moderate Install. This is a moderately difficult install and it is recommended you have automotive knowledge or go to a technician before beginning. You will need to jack the car up and remove the front wheels and disconnect the front sway bar end links. This install will take you about 30 mins if you are just installing the Spindle/Ball Joint Adapters. If you plan to install the front control arms at the same time, install will take longer. Maximum Motorsports does not offer a warranty with their products and recommends you make the proper upgrades such as a coil over conversion kit and replacement front sway bars for maximum performance and to ensure proper install.
