          Loud!

I will tell everyone why they don’t show a video of install or dyno with the MBRP down pipe mated to the MBRP racing exhaust. LOUD!!! Hooligan wake your neighbors up gunshot loud! Personally, I absolutely love them together. The symphony makes me feel like a teenager again. Like every time I start it I know I’m doing something wrong. However, there is a huge difference in noise when running in normal mode versus sport. Normal allows you to drive at about half the decibels. And a perfect fitting exhaust system that took minimal install effort with another set of hands.

          Day and night

I already had the mbrp race cat back, witch sounds good, but as soon as I installed the down pipe... WOW! It sounds amazing. It’s loud yet still a deepish tone, witch could be my favorite part. 10/10 Would Recommend

          MBRP downpipe

Fitment issues with connecting to stock exhaust the clamp loosens up and exhaust leak develops. The flex pipe also has holes in it already after very limited use.

          Great power adder

Install was easy and the turbo spools up so much faster without cats

          Good sound but strong smell

This was the last part of the exhaust system I changed out. I started with axle backs and a Y pipe. It sounded alright but was still pretty quiet. The catless down pipe made the engine and turbo a lot louder on start up and in the upper RPMs, which is nice. There also isn't any drone on the highway. The downside is that you will have a strong gasoline smell. It doesn't bother me too much since I use to daily drive a 1966 mustang but my girlfriend and family don't like it. Overall it does improve the exhaust note and make it louder but you will have to accept the gasoline smell and not being able to pass inspection. You will also have a check engine light unless you get a custom tune or use a non-fouler.

          Great performance, sound and price

I had an after market 3" setup with the stock downpipe and cats removed was alright, this piece slid right on and allowed me to adapt to mine where needed. Gave it a deeper sound and had solid construction, can't imagine a more expensive one doing any better.

          Excellent downpipe.

This downpipe installed very easily. Using jack stands I installed it in about 90 minutes. Fit was excellent and the sound is great. No drone at all. I have it paired with the MBRP Race exhaust. On a stage 3 Cobb tune with an ETS intercooler and HPS cold air intake, the car is very quick and sounds great. Lots of turbo and BOV noise.

          Perfect!

If you're on the fence about choosing this down pipe, I say go for it! I had MBRP's 3" Race Series Cat-back, so I decided on this down pipe hoping it would compliment the deep sound of the cat-back. It did! The volume increase isn't super noticeable while idling or driving slow, but once you get on the throttle, this down pipe sounds amazing! It still sounds deep but with a nice raspiness to it. I drove my car home without tuning and there was a difference in power. Awesome down pipe
