      Flywheel Heat-Shield Replacement. The McLeod Flywheel Friction Plate for Racing Flywheels is designed to protect the flywheel and clutch assembly by shielding heat generated during operation. This replacement kit is used when servicing or upgrading McLeod Racing flywheels to maintain optimal performance and longevity without the need to replace the entire flywheel. It is essential for ensuring effective heat management in high-performance applications.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from billet steel, the insert features durable construction with precise dimensions of 12 inches outside diameter and 6.125 inches inside diameter. The kit includes 20 screws and locking nuts for secure installation, with a raw steel texture designed for strength and heat resistance consistent with racing standards.

      Installation. The installation process is straightforward with all required hardware included. No additional drilling is necessary, making it a direct replacement for compatible McLeod Racing flywheels.

      Warranty. This product carries a 90-day warranty covering defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase.

      Application. Specifically designed for 2010 to 2013 6.2L Camaro models. It is not compatible with McLeod flywheels originally equipped with riveted heat-shields.
