Description
Performance Flywheel Upgrade. The McLeod Aluminum Flywheel; 6 Bolt is designed to reduce rotating mass for quicker engine response and acceleration. It is ideal for high horsepower and rapid RPM engines, helping to improve overall performance and drivability.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum, this flywheel features a replaceable steel friction plate and a hardened 1045 steel ring gear, offering durability and precision fitment with a lightweight design.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling, but precise alignment using the included pins is essential to ensure proper clutch engagement and strength.
Warranty. This product is backed by a 90-day warranty covering defects in material and workmanship.
Application. Fits 97-13 Corvette C5 & C6, Excluding ZR1. Note that this model accommodates engines with 6-bolt crankshafts and includes .400" added to the face to align with certain transmission types.
