NOTE: This is a high-performance tire intended for use during summer months or warm temperatures only. Use during cold weather will greatly reduce performance, traction and handling, and greatly increase stopping distance. If using this tire in a drag or track environment during cold weather, we strongly recommend performing a pre-run burnout to nominalize the tread compound's temperature.

Fitment on lowered car Will these fit a 2013 gt lowered 1.5" with the SR spings without rubbing?

    • Shouldn't have any issues with fitment in the rear lowered 1.5, I wouldn't suggest a 2 inch drop in the rear

    Will a 315/35/17 work on a 17x9 Cobra R rim?

    • The largest tire we would recommend for a 17" x 9" wheel is a 275mm tread width tire. A 315 may be able to mount, however, that would be highly dangerous and the tire can de-bead, and we would strongly recommend against it. Depending on the year of the mustang, the recommended size for proper fitment may vary. We would recommend 255-40-17 for 1994-1998 Mustangs and 275-40-17 for 1999-2004 Mustangs.

What type of tread life would be expected out of these? I know that it varies from driver to driver especially based on usage. I am looking for something that will last longer than the Pireli Pzero factory tires. I live in Florida and dont feel as though the factory tires lasted long enough.

    • Yes, the pirelli's have been suffering in life span due to ford pumping out more, and more powerful mustangs every other year it seems, with out upgrading the PZero's. my 07 V6 stockers lasted 60k! my 13 GT 5.0 stockers lasted 28K and that was pushing it. These micky T's are created by performance nuts that do not particularly care about tread life... 20K and there done... However the perfomance you get out of them are amazing.

I have a 2017 mustang gt ,It says recommended for 285/35R19 is a 19x10. so would it be safe or not to put 285/35R19 on a 19x9.5 rim?

    • Hello, yes you can still fit a 285 tire on a 9.5 inch wide wheel. Although we do offer our "recommended size" this tire still fits a few other width wheels, a 9.5 inch is still safe.

How many miles warranty these tires have

    • These tires do not have a mileage warranty as the driving habits, driving conditions, tire and vehicle maintenance all play a part in the tread life of a tire and all differ with each purchaser.

      Dissapointing at best

I bought 20" Street Comps and wheels mounted and balanced from AM. After I installed them, I started out driving one day and it felt like I had a tire going down even though the TPMS sensor light never came on. While there was no visual evidence of a failed tire, I took all of them off and to the closest tire dealer with road force balancing capability. Long story short, all four tires had road force values of 52, 26, 28, and 16. Iwas told by the shop that a "normal" value is 10 or less. I elected to return the 52 tire to AM for replacement but had to prove to them via letter from the shop that the tire was defective. I really wish I would have returned all four because I still have a vibration and shake in the steering wheel that wasn't there with the old tires/wheels. I would definitely NOT buy these tires again and will be replacing them as soon as possible.

      Decent tires

I got the 18 inch tires in offset front and rear sizes. Tires are decent but I honestly was expecting them to be stickier on launching. Good around corners but I can still spin them easily when launching in first gear. They do look really nice. When I get them wet, they spin super easily :-)

      Terrible Tire

I put a set of 315’s on my 01 cobra thinking they would get traction, they are terrible. My car is stock except gears and exhaust and the tires spin in 1,2,and 3rd gear if you get on it. Even at the track they are terrible, I tried lowering the air pressure, did a small burn out, big burn out it didn’t matter. The only thing I like about them is how they look.

      MT Streets 315/35/17

These are installed on a '98 GT convertible. I am really surprised at the wet weather traction. The stock size tires these replaced got horrible wet weather traction and I expected these wider tires to be worse. I am able to spin these easier from a dead stop than the stock tires, I'm assuming because of weight distribution, but that was a pleasant surprise. Overall, very impressed with the traction. I've currently got 1000 miles on them.

2005 Mustang GT 5 speed manual

Tire handles great and looks just good. Great street tire with good traction on take off and in tight, fast cornering. It does have a whining road sound at higher speeds (80-85 mph). So... for the price I would buy again. But can we please have these made with white lettering? Can't find any low profile tires these days with white lettering and I want it! Paint pen look great but expensive and timely to do and only last a couple days before looking poorly. Come on American Muscle...use your muscle and pressure your manufacturers with your customers hunger and desire for a white letter tires. Id' pay $10 more per tire for that choice!

The MTs that I got must have been defective

By far the worst dry traction tire I have ever seen in all my days of hot rodding. These things break lose at 45 mph in third gear in my 2014 GT (in 18" staggered) on dry pavement. I couldn't wait to wear them out and get them off my car. Switched up to Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s and they are hands down 10x the tire these MTs were.

      255/35r20 front and 305/35r20 rear

I just got these tires a few weeks ago along with some and rims to replace my stock tires and rims. I've noticed a huge difference in the amount of grip between these tires and the stock p zero. The rear tires are a significant amount wider than the front tires and make the car have a very muscular stance. I had the misfortune of having a piece of a saw blade stab into the tire less than two weeks after installing the tires but the tire was not punctured even though half an inch of the blade was in the tire. I'd recommend these tires to anyone needing new performance tires.

They look so great and fit well in the front even with the 17’s. And yes it does sit low but if you got coilovers like me it’s an easy adjustment to raise the front a bit.

I will replace these 45R tires

I don't push my tires. Drove in the rain last night for 60 miles. Had no problems with them but drove a little slow because I couldn't see the lane markings. I will go to a taller tires when/if I wear these out. Most of my complaints are with a semi-low profile tire. Overall they are quiet but will sing over grooved and wants to grab the grooves.
