NT555 G2. Are you experiencing excessive tire slip in the corners and under acceleration? Then it's time to upgrade your 1999-2004 Mustang to a brand new set of Nitto NT555 G2 Ultra High Performance Summer Tires. It doesn't matter if your New Edge Mustang spends most of its time roaming the streets or tearing up the track; excessive tire slip is not going to win you any races. Nitto developed their NT555 G2 Tires to combat tire slip and increase traction to give you the confidence you need to triumph over the competition. Nitto NT555 G2 Summer Tires are perfect for dry and wet weather performance driving.
Silica Tire Compound. Nitto NT555 G2 Tires are made using a proprietary silica compound. Nitto uses a special bonding agent during their manufacturing process to increase the interaction between the base compound elements to further reinforce their chemical bonds. This specialized bonding agent helps create a tire with a higher compound stiffness which results in better cornering performance in both wet and dry conditions.
Excellent Handling. The Nitto NT555 G2 features an all new directional tread pattern with twin center ribs and larger tapered tread blocks for excellent dry traction as well as increased cornering and straight-line stability. The Nitto NT555 G2's tread pattern not only provides excellent handling to your ride, but also adds a great aggressive appearance to the look of your Mustang.
Wet Weather Performance. The four circumferential center grooves and the lateral shoulder grooves of the Nitto NT555 G2 Tire effectively channel water from the contact patch to provide greater wet weather traction. The reinforced shoulder tread blocks of the NT555 G2 are designed improve both wet and dry cornering grip. This combination of grooves and tread blocks help to greatly reduce the possibility of hydroplaning.
