    Trans cooler

This trans cooler wasn't big enough to just run the 6r80 alone it has to be ran in line with the factory trans cooler but when it was all hooked up and the fan kicked on at red lights the temps went down or held the same

    Easy

Fan is well built and easy to install. May want to consider keeping it out of the wind flow (aka behind bumper) and then either operate with a manual switch or a temperature probe control. That way the normal highway air flow is not impeded but when temps rise and air flow is limited, the cooler can do it's thing!

    Must have for auto trans

I was having problems with my transmission overheating, so a transmission cooler was suggested to me. After researching this one I decided to get it. My transmission no longer overheats. Installation wasn't that bad. It took about an hour/ hour an a half. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone that has an auto tranny.

    Amazing product

After I blew out my old transmission and had to replace the transmission torque converter and trans cooler via metal chunks in the pan this was definitely the best option performance-wise and price wise it has been amazing ever since have been tracking the trans temp with my tuner and it has stayed cool and ran better than ever

    Works well

I have no idea what the normal operating temperature of the 4R70W is but after installing a 2400 converter temps would rise above 230° sitting in traffic, used a barb fitting kit from auto zone and 8 feet of 11/32" line (was a little tight, should have bought 3/8" but couldn't find any). Ran the lines out of the cooler in the radiator into this one and back into the hard line (stock fitting on the radiator side of the hard line didn't work too well with the barb kit I got, ended up cutting it off, putting on the fitting that goes into the transmission and reflaring the line.) Now temps stay around 180°.

    Great part!!

Got this after installing my 3k stall torque converter to keep the trans cool. Ran it in series after the stock cooler in the radiator. Simply plumb it in with some nice brass fittings and some 3/8" TRANS COOLER line. (make sure you buy trans cooler line) I ran a relay with the ignition trigger off the coolant bottle. Tuck the relay under the cover next to the coil. The fan sounds good, and really pushes the air. Installed on my LX Foxbody. Submitted a few pics.
