Hey, everybody. Justin with AmericanMuscle.com. Here with the legend, Chip Foose, talking about the MMD by Foose Rear Spoiler available for your 2015 and up Mustang, available either unpainted or pre-painted. Now, Chip, you designed this spoiler. What was the thought process behind it? Well, when I did mine, as I say, I like to look at the design language that the factory uses to produce the real car. I never want my parts to look like an aftermarket or an afterthought. I like them to look like this should have come from the factory this way. So, using that negative curve that's off the deck lid, I just followed that same curve to create the top of it. When you look at this cutout that's here, it's just basically taking the shape that's around the license plate and just flipping it over, mirroring that image. Then the side being the same shape as the quarter, and just rolling around, following that plan view. But like I say, I don't want it to look like something that was an afterthought. This should be something that would have come on the Mustang. Absolutely, and it resembles that. It's definitely not wild or over-the-top. It has very factory-like appearance, and it's sharp. Guys, it is made out of blue molded injection plastic here. Again, you can grab it unpainted or pre-painted from the AM paint shop, again, getting a perfect color match right out of the box, like we have here on our silver car. As for the install, guys, really not that bad. Using your factory bolt holes, you can expect about an hour, maybe two tops, using the 3M tape and the included hardware. Chip, great part, sir. Thanks for offering it here, from MMD by Foose, of course. Be sure to check out this rear spoiler and many other MMD by Foose products for your 2015 and up Mustang at AmericanMuscle.com.

Couldn’t be more happy with my purchase, install was pretty straightforward as well, taking the old take off of the trunk lid is the most tedious part.Helpful (0)

Great looking add on
The paint match was pretty right on, but let me say installing this on a convertible is a bit different than the coupe, for starters the holes do NOT line up as shown in the video, as the coupe oem spoiler is mounted a bit different. You will be drilling 2 holes and opening up the outer 2. Also you will need to place the spoiler in the correct location or the double stick tape on the back edge will not grab. In my case had to add an extra layer of tape. But once on and bolted down it seems pretty firm. Honestly MMD should have added install pins to aid in the install or just use a couple of small wooden dowels to help align the spoiler because simply "eyeing" it wont work.Helpful (0)

Adds that extra effect on the car that tops the stock spoiler. I’m not a big fan of huge spoilers, so this was a perfect balance for me. Easy to install, hardest part is removing the old spoiler.Helpful (0)

Install was pretty easy and straightforward, and the spoiler looks amazing! Don't hesitate on this one-- it's aggressive, but at the same time, not over-the-top. Personally, I was torn while deciding whether or not to paint-match it or just go black, but man, I ended up going with black and I'm so happy that I did. It looks great with the magnetic metal color on my '18!Helpful (0)

Foose spoiler on a GT convertible
I like how well the spoiler looks on the back deck. The stock spoiler was a joke. I also like how it shipped repainted and matched the color of my car. It does interfere with the rear antenna when fully opened. I just have to remember to use two hands (1 on antenna, 1 on trunk lid). I would have given 5 stars if it missed the antenna.Helpful (0)

Color match of the spoiler was dead on. The detailer that was doing the ceramic coating on the car was extremely impressed. Very little to no paint correction needed. The brand new car needed more paint correction than the spoiler. Looks great on the car. Would be a 5 star review if the spoiler was set up like the factory one. Having the hardware mounted to the spoiler so that they went in the factory holes and just had to have the nuts threaded on once in place would have made install easier. I had to have a couple of extra sets of hands to make sure it was installed without scratching the new coating on the car.Helpful (0)

Foose Spoiler, top notch
Foose does it again, this spoiler does exactly what he wants. It looks like it came from the factory. The lower center compliments the lines of the rear license plate mounting area. The outboard ends also follow the rear quarter of the S550 style perfectly. The pre-painted option was a perfect match. This is the best choice for a blade style spoiler that makes the car pop and is an eye catcher.Helpful (0)

Took me a while to decide on the right spoiler addition to my mustang, and finally decided on the MMD by Foose prepainted. Perfect fit and a breeze to install. The only thing that took me a while was how long I stared at the positioning to make sure it was even. LolHelpful (1)

Easy to install, just go slow. Helpful hint if you are drilling, go up one drill size from recommended. This makes it much easier to catch the bolt threads with the phillips screws. Also just peel back the 3m tape partially from one side and let it flap out from the edges, start the threads, then peel the tape off, and tighten the screws.Helpful (3)

Love it! The spoiler looks very good and sporty and it's very well made. The instructions are clear and the spoiler is well packed. : ) My first time installing a spoiler. My husband helped me to install this together. It was a lot of work to clean up the old tape from the old spoiler, but it is well worth it! I posted some photos to share, so you can see how the black spoiler looks on a white car.Helpful (2)
Does this fit a 2015 GT convertible?
The MMD by FOOSE Rear Spoiler will fit on the convertible Mustangs but the Rear Spoiler may come in contact with the factory antenna when the trunk is opened on Convertible models.
Are the factory holes for the standard spoiler and the performance package wing spoiler the same? I’m looking to get a black spoiler to replace the body colored wing spoiler of my magnetic performance pack factory spoiler but want to find something that I won’t have to drill
The MMD by FOOSE Rear Spoiler will fit into the Performance Pack spoiler holes as these are in the same locations as the standard spoiler's holes.
What color is the unpainted MMD Foose Rear Spoiler ?
Hello! The MMD by FOOSE Rear Spoiler unpainted is Matte Black.
Will this also fit a 2015 GT Premium Convertible. I do have the factory spoiler.
Hi, This spoiler will fit on all 2015-2017 Mustangs.
Can you pls advised the physical size/dimensions of this packaged item. (L x W x H) of box please. Need it for transport reasons.
This spoiler is packaged in a box that's dimensions are (65.71x15.57x6.14) and also will be 5lbs as well.
The dimensions of this package are (65.71x15.57x6.14).
The MMD by FOOSE Rear Spoiler can be installed with just 3M tape, however this will limit the strength of the mounting and allow high speeds or high winds to pull the spoiler loose.
Yes, this spoiler will work even if you didn't have a factory spoiler. Drilling will be required though since there are no holes in the trunk.
If your car did not come from the factory with a spoiler, drilling would be required to install this.
Our pre-painted parts are painted with to match the color pigment of the Ford factory colors when it comes off the assembly line. We do not paint to match an older car because of variables such as whether or not the car has been in storage when not used, sun fading, and normal wear of the clear and paint.
Hello! I'm not to sure if/when we will offer that color. One option would be to buy the unpainted version and have a shop paint it for you!
This will reuse the holes that are left by the factory wing.
This will reuse the existing holes left in the deck lid by the stock wing(if so equipped) on the Fastback model. Convertible models equipped with a stock wing will not be able to reuse the factory holes, drilling will be required for installation.
