Description
High-Performance Clutch Kit. The Monster Clutch Co. R Series Sintered Single Disc Clutch Kit with Billet Steel Flywheel is engineered for high horsepower applications up to 850 RWHP/RWTQ. Designed for aggressive racing use in drag racing, drifting, and road racing, this clutch provides exceptional holding capacity and durability for heavily modified vehicles equipped with power adders.
Construction and Appearance. This clutch kit features proprietary ceramic-based friction material combined with an 11-inch 6-puck race disc and a heavy-duty pressure plate. The flywheels are CNC-machined with options including billet steel and ultra-lightweight aluminum for tailored performance. Each unit is precisely balanced to ensure smooth operation and reliability under extreme conditions, finished with a durable steel texture to withstand high heat and stress.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and uses OEM-style mounting points with no drilling necessary. Proper break-in procedures are strongly recommended to optimize clutch performance and extend service life.
Application. Fits Pontiac GTO, providing a race-ready clutch solution compatible with the vehicle’s drivetrain and powertrain setup. This clutch is designed primarily for track and competition use, with very limited or no suitability for daily street driving.
