Description
High Performance Clutch. The Monster Clutch Co. R Series Sintered Triple Disc Clutch Kit with Billet Steel Flywheel is engineered to handle extreme power levels up to 1800+ RWHP/RWTQ. Designed primarily for racing applications such as drag, drift, and road racing, it provides exceptional grip and durability under aggressive driving conditions. This clutch is designed for serious motorsport use and is not recommended for daily driving due to its aggressive engagement characteristics.
Construction and Appearance. This clutch system features a durable GM LT1-based diaphragm pressure plate extensively modified for maximum plate load and lift/release efficiency. It includes three sintered metallic discs paired with a precision CNC-machined billet steel flywheel, balanced to less than 0.100 OZ/IN for optimal performance. The assembly is finished in natural billet steel, emphasizing strength and reliability over aesthetics.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and generally fits bolt-on with included pilot bearing and alignment tools. It is designed for straightforward installation on the specified Corvette C7 platform without need for additional drilling or modification.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 14-19 Corvette C7.
