Description
Rear Differential Super Bearing Kit. The Motive Gear 8.80-Inch Rear Differential Super Bearing Kit with Timken Bearings is designed to replace and upgrade factory bearings and components in Ford 8.8 solid axle rear differentials. It includes precision-engineered Timken tapered bearings, metal shims, high-quality seals, and either a crush sleeve or preload shim pack to allow accurate bearing preload adjustments. The kit also contains pinion nuts, ring gear bolts, a brush, cover gasket or RTV, marking compound, and thread locking compound needed for assembly.
Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and does not involve drilling or permanent modifications. The kit contains all necessary hardware and compounds to facilitate a secure and reliable fit.
This kit is designed to fit a broad range of Ford 8.8 solid-axle vehicles, including Mustang models from 2005 through 2014. The fitment covers various trims and applications utilizing the Ford 8.8 axle.
