The expanded steel core provides enhanced stability and torque retention, while the graphite-impregnated facing offers excellent thermal conductivity to efficiently transfer heat away from the cylinder head. The gasket thickness is .062 inch, and the graphite facing delivers a smooth, heat-resistant surface ideal for conforming to minor surface irregularities.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, typically requiring no drilling or modification when used in compatible applications. The gasket can be trimmed for custom port sizes if needed to accommodate modified headers or manifolds.
