      Gross Weight. This trailer hitch is rated for up to a generous 2,000 Pounds gross trailer weight and 200 Pounds tongue weight.

      Heavy-Duty Construction. CURT’s trailer hitch with ball mount has been welded from carbon steel for superior strength and direct fit. It has been uniquely constructed to integrate with the frame body shape of a 2005-2008 Ford Mustang. It has also been safety tested in accordance with SAE J684.

      Easy Bolt-On Installation. CURT’s custom-design approach caters to easy installation. Installation involves bolting the trailer hitch to the underbody frame. First, look for the mounting points in the underbody frame. You may need to clean out the weld nut threads and frame before affixing the hitch. It’s a good idea to get some assistance to lift the hitch into place, as it’s a little heavy. Once it’s in place, start from the center thread and tighten the bolts onto the frame using the hardware provided, then use a ratchet and socket to tighten.
