CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This pump features a durable nylon 66 housing reinforced with 30% glass filling, ensuring strength and heat resistance. It utilizes a ceramic face seal for reliable sealing and has a lightweight design weighing just 920 grams (2.03 lb). The pump’s volute chamber supports effective centrifugal fluid movement with a clockwise rotation.
INSTALLATION. Installation is moderately straightforward, typically involving placement in the bottom radiator hose using standard push-on fittings. Modifications such as thermostat removal or drilling may be necessary depending on the specific vehicle and installation method.
