The Davies Craig EWP140 Black Remote Electric Water Pump; 12-Volt is engineered to improve engine cooling efficiency, especially for larger, high-horsepower, turbocharged, and supercharged engines. It efficiently replaces or complements the mechanical water pump, helping to reduce engine heat while releasing power that is typically lost through belt-driven pumps.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from lightweight powder-coated aluminium alloy, this pump offers durability and corrosion resistance. The rugged design incorporates a ceramic face seal and a clockwise centrifugal impeller housed within a volute chamber to ensure optimal coolant flow and long service life.
Installation. Installation generally requires moderate mechanical skills, with no self-priming feature necessitating careful placement. Some adaptation may be required for hose fittings and mounting, and minor modifications such as drilling small holes in the thermostat plate may be necessary depending on installation method.
Application. This pump fits universally with most engine configurations; however, some adaptation may be necessary for specific vehicles or setups to achieve optimal performance and secure fitment.
