Description
Feather Lite Tow Hook Overview. The Feather Lite Tow Hook with Black D-Ring; Front provides a secure and reliable attachment point for vehicle recovery or towing situations. It enhances safety by allowing easy and secure connection of tow straps or cables during track days or road incidents. Its sleek design maintains vehicle aesthetics while ensuring function.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from custom billet aluminum, the D-ring is powder coated for durability and style in red or black. It is fastened directly to a black chromoly steel shaft with stainless hardware, balancing lightweight design with strength and corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation requires no drilling for front mounts, only minor modifications to the plastic air duct behind the radiator. The tight fit through the grille is intentional for structural support, and trimming the grille opening may be necessary without compromising integrity. Rear receiver installation requires removal of the rear bottom extractor and drilling of one 3/4" hole and two 5/16" holes.
Application. Specifically engineered for the 2015-2017 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack. Vehicles with aftermarket GT350 bumpers will require a GT350-specific setup.
