      Description

Manual Brake Conversion Kit. This kit replaces the conventional power brake setup with a manual system designed specifically for drag racing applications. It improves vehicle weight distribution and frees engine bay space by eliminating the power brake booster. Compatible with automatic and manual transmission pedal boxes, it provides an upgraded manual brake system solution for 79-93 Mustangs.

Construction and Appearance. The kit includes a durable 1.125-inch bore aluminum master cylinder and billet aluminum adapter plate, engineered for strength and lightweight performance. The included hardware—push rod, dust boot, rod end, banjo fittings, sleeves, nuts, and mounting components—are precision machined with a natural aluminum finish suitable for engine bay integration.

Installation. Installation involves moderate mechanical skill and requires modifying the brake pedal and brake lines according to the instructions. The kit mounts the adapter plate in place of the original booster without drilling the firewall. Note that while the kit uses the factory brake pedal location to simplify installation, pedal ratio adjustment and brake light switch replacement are necessary for proper operation and safety.

Application. This kit fits 1979-1993 Mustang models and is intended for drag racing use only. It is not compatible with unmodified stock braking systems and is not DOT approved for street use. Users must ensure all brake functions are tested and operating correctly before driving.
