        1 Top Rated Question

Coverted to disk on rear, and have a question. I installed a 93 Cobra disk rear on my 88 Mustang. The rear does work, but its seems my fronts are doing 90% of the work, and I would like them to do 60% of the work. Will this help send more pressure to the rear?

        • This Rear Brake Proportioning Valve will not fix your problem. This lets you adjust the rear proportion in the rear brakes, not the front. It seems you may not have the factory proportioning valve installed or in the right position. This can cause more pressure to be applied to the front and not the rear.

            Awesome product

I'm upgrading the brakes on my 88 Thunderbird(5.0) and needed this to adjust the bias. This did the job and added a little "bling" to the strut tower as well. Seems to be a well built product . A/M scores again.!

            Excellent Product.

This easy to install part is a must for anyone who wants to adapt their mustang to driving in lines that aren't straight. My car is actually a '79 Capri RS with a 351W swap and a fully rebuilt suspension of my own design for both drag racing and drifting. Having this valve not only works well to brake exactly how you want it, on the track conditions that your running, but you can kill a ton of the braking power to the rear to make amazing burnouts without torching your rear brakes. Adapts to the stock brake lines. Ford Racing good quality, and I abuse the tar outta my drifting/drag Capri. I mounted mine before a flow-through hydraulic e-brake and there isn't a difference in the performance of either.
