3.08 Gear Ratio. This ring and pinion kit is designed to provide you with extra fuel efficiency while still being able to give you the power you desire. The 3.08 gear ratio is ideal for this, optimizing the power from your engine to the wheels.

Recommended Upgrade. Installing this gear kit when it was not your original gear ratio will require a re-tuning of your Mustang’s computer to ensure speedometer accuracy. This can be done with a handheld tuner or a mechanic can do it for you.
Installation. Professional installation is highly recommended since this kit requires you to disassemble your Mustang’s front end. If doing it yourself, you will need a minimum of 4 hours, specialized hand tools, a car lift or jack stands, and advanced mechanical expertise.
